I am watching the Opening Ceremony. Awesome. Huge achievement technologically and logistically. Absolutely beautiful.

Yes. Very beautiful and impressive. (The 4 Olympic Rings...instead or 5...was unfortunate. You could almost feel Puten grinding his teeth. Heheh.)

Absolutely stunningly beautiful. Excellent in every way, decor, design, technology, timing and on and on.

The lighting of the Olympic flame has to be the most spectacular ever performed......flawless.

I think mister Putin and all the hard working Russian citizens showed the world of doubters ....they ARE ready.

Now we can listen to the media and empty headed reporting and all their political positioning yeah buts......

Great job Russia.

I was happy for Russia. I would have hated to have to hear a particular news agency ride the non ready into the ground. A heck of an achievement Winter Olympics wise. They never approach the pageantry of a summer Olympic openings but nonetheless a great show. Let's hope the games are competitive and safe.

Putin, grinding his teeth? I don't think that be the end of that incident but we won't hear about it. All in all, the opening was lovely and on target. As for the dramatic storytelling and ballet, who is it is in the Russian's genes. Loved it.
