Default Lake County Curfew

Curfew From 10PM to 5AM. I guess some of The Villages are locked in again but our streets are rolled up at 9PM anyway so it shouldn't matter. .

"...protests across FL..."?

Another case of agenda driven reporting extrapolating a specific incident to a general condition.

We got a call last night at 9:30 from Lake County about the curfew. Some of us are already in bed at that time. Does anyone know if Sumter got those calls also?

Hope your all just kidding about bed time, how boring. I’m out 4 or 5 nights to at least11here , later while home in Boston or winter months in Miami Beach and always watch a late movie till about 1 am and I’m 81. The best part of the day is nighttime lol

Before the virus we were often out till 10 or so. Now all we do is walk around our neighborhood after dinner.

So boring. Cant wait for things to return to normal

Lucky you. I sleep with a woman who gets up at zero dark thirty every day and woe be unto you if you dare sleep in.

I too was surprised to read this in 'da paper' this morning...and said to myself "Lake County, really???"

I suspect other counties will follow suit

The reality is that there's very little going on after 10pm...

So we've all been warned...if you're caught out after curfew and aren't just coming home from work or going to/from the ER: one of two things are gonna happen, you're either going to be told to go home and don't let it happen again, or you're going in the back seat for a ride.

I seriously doubt that they have those nice comfy pillows from "mypillow.com" at the holding centers...

Default Lake County curfew

I live in Pine Hills and hence am a resident of Lake County. Discovered this morning that all of Lake County is under a nightly curfew from 10 pm to 5 am. The notice indicates it is based on concern about vandalism and violence throughout the country after the death of George Floyd.

The curfew is "supposed" to be for everyone including looters and rioters ...but we know how that usually goes.

Ya never know..
Could there be a bigger population of white privilege in Florida than The Villages to riot and loot?

Drove I75 north Sunday, text came for every city I came near about curfew, in that. city. My location on the WiFi must have been triggering the texts. Stopped counting after 16 cities. Last text i received was from Cincinnati, Got tired of them interrupting my music, I went to airplane mode.
