Lightbulb Squirrel proof your bird feeder...with a Slinky!

I have tried a number of things to keep squirrels out of my bird feeder, with varying results, but this looks like it might actually be a good solution.

Not to mention that it might be great entertainment to sit on my lanai, with a tall glass of iced tea...and watch the show.

Kentucky woman uses a Slinky to squirrel-proof her bird feeder

cute but I use the cone and have no problems with squirrels succeeding.

I've used the cone/shroud on a number of different feeders over the years, but had at least one squirrel (I assume squirrel, since I never saw it happen live)...that seemed to have found a way to defeat it.
