Can see it now - a true-story movie depicting events of the Thai soccer boys and the rescue, like the Chilean miner rescue years back. I will definitely see this film when released in a couple years (no doubt).

Hopefully a very happy ending with the movie dedicated to all those heroes helping the effort - and esp the diver who gave his life a few days ago.

Fingers crossed that all continues well. This type of event tends to unify a country (for a time anyway) - perhaps something the USA could use...

The Chilean movie was OK. The 33 (2015) - Rotten Tomatoes

The world is watching and I have already looked up what Junta means. Seems their government is in flux.

Glad to see that people are rising above politics and differences to help these kids.

As a card carrying mother I would like to ask that damn coach;

What were you thinkin'???????????????????????

Looks like it was only four but still that is quite an achievement.

Now only one boy and the soccer coach are still in the cave along with 3 SEALS and a doctor. Hope these boys and coach have a speedy recovery.

Me too. It is interesting how the news is covered there as opposed to how a similar event is covered here. No pictures of the rescued kids and not much on their condition.

Last night I read that officials would not tell the waiting group of parents which children had been rescued until all children had been rescued. That doesn't make sense to me.

Like you and many of us Shaumberger, I have been practically holding my breath. Being stuck in the dark with water approaching is the worst nightmare of many.

I still would have many questions for that coach.

On the edge of my seat and fingers on both hands crossed, with white knuckles...that they get the last boy and coach out safely.
