I usually prepare our Thanksgiving meal at home but back problems is keeping me from doing so this year. I was thinking about making reservations at Nancy Lopez or another country club... I'll watch for ads in the paper.

For those who may be interested in order in advance a full Thanksgiving Dinner for pickup, you can do so with TooJays by Tuesday 11/26. Click TooJay's Holiday Menu for full details.

A number of years ago (2002, I think), my late brother and his wife hosted Thanksgiving at their modest home. Everything was prepared by Publix! There were some logistical problems determining what got heated up at what temperature in a limited-size oven, but the food was excellent, and we managed to overcome the timing issues quite easily.

I have no idea how much everything cost, but I know that my brother was well-satisfied!

Worth inquiring.

I think the poster is looking for a restaurant to go to, trying to avoid having to do anything due to back problems.

We are going to Nancy Lopez. Called about a month ago, for a party of 8, and we got a reservation for 7pm. They were totatly booked for anything earlier. If you need reservations you had better decided pretty quickly.

Look at the bottom. You need to buy a 12-14 lb turkey at the least. So for a family of 2 you are pretty much screwed. Unless you have a lot of guests.

Unless you are a family of two, one of whom is my husband, whose main interest in TG is leftovers for turkey sandwiches.
