Default Orlando New Year's Eve

We will be flying back into Orlando New Year's Eve afternoon and were thinking it would be fun to stay the night and watch the fireworks at Disney. Anyone know a close REASONABLY priced hotel? We have used Hawthorne Suites in the past....but they are all booked Thanks!

Default WDW New Year's Eve

I was at EPCOT on December 31, 1999 (I booked 5 years in advance). My favorite fireworks display is at EPCOT, with the Magic Kingdom show my second choice. I can't speak for a "regular" New Year's Eve, but for the millenium you had to be in the park of your choice by approximately 2 PM. Otherwise, you didn't get in because of crowd size. Hopefully, someone who attends for other New Year's Eve events can fill you in on a "regular" night.
I think you'll be lucky if you can find a hotel at this late date. I've always stayed on Disney property, so can't help with a recommendation.

Hope you get a hotel and can attend!

Epcot is wonderful on New Years Eve very busy. We live a few miles from the parks and after 17 years we never get tired of Disney. We keep saying were gonna come to the villages but I still can't let go. Enjoy you night .

Assume you will be going into the park to watch. I think they close the park as soon as it is filled and this could happen in the first couple of hours after it opens. Due a little research and make sure you can get in.
