Mark Patinkin: Pearl Harbor has stayed with him for close to 75 years - News - providencejournal.com - Providence, RI

The memories these men and women would have had to deal with daily really weighs on me.

My uncle who fought in the Pacific Theater and could recite island after island of the battles he fought in WWII. He passed at 99 years old.

I don't know if he trying to be nice but he said the World trade Center attack on 9/11, was much worse, (he didn't elaborate). A man of few words, who fought along with many others to keep our freedom.

Some people seem to feel that FDR baited the Japanese into attacking, as he thought we needed to get involved in WWII, (FDR by Jean Edward Smith). Unfortunately, he thought they would attack in the Phillipines.
