Angry Solar Nails

Had a very bad experience at Solar Nails at Pinellas. I had a $35.00 coupon for a regular mani/pedi. The man at the desk when I checked in told me that since I was getting shellac mani and it cost more, I could use the $35.00 coupon and pay the difference in the price which would be $18.00. A regular pedi and shellac mani comes to $53.00. I thanked him and he kept my coupon. When I went to pay after receiving my services, I was told that I couldn't use the coupon. That's when I learned that the gentleman who checked me in and was now not there, but gone. They called him on the phone, they handed me the phone and he was yelling at me that he didn't tell me that I could use the coupon, that I had to pay the full $53.00 and he was not honoring the coupon after he told me that he would. He continued to argue with me. I told him this was very poor business and that I would not be back. His response to me was, "that's okay". Gee, I thought businesses were having a rough time - guess this jerk isn't. By the way, if he wasn't going to honor my coupon, why did he keep it instead of returning it to me? They're a bunch of double-talking crooks - my advice is go somewhere else!!

What a terrible experience.

I would have held my ground and not paid them the $53.00.
What would they have done . . . lock you up??!?

I go there all the time. It's normally 56 for shellac and pedi so yes he DID honor your coupon. The coupon is 23 for a pedi. Stop bad mouthing a business when you are completely wrong. You saved $3.00

Try Angelas Nails in Palm Court Plaza they are awesome, and very reasonable! Everyone is so nice, and the place is immaculate!

Read the OP's post again. She said her coupon was for a mani/pedi, not just a pedi, and was for $35, not $23. She obviously had a different coupon than you did.
