Default Wayfair, are you a fan?

So have bought the occasional small item furniture, and been very happy. Counter chairs, small corner bath cabinet, closet organizer.

In looking for new small oval 4-6 person table for kitchen nook, maybe with a leaf, all the furniture stores are failing my endeavor.

Most tables are too large, poor quality, or not in stock for months. I have been to Babette’s, White’s, Rooms to Go, Kent, and couple more. Kent had the most available, but just not exactly.

So did you buy furniture like, tables, tv table, couch, chairs, from Wayfair? If so, good, bad, ugly? If bad how was the return process. If you didn’t like it could you return?

We bought 2 recliners for $300 each with free shipping- pre covid. We've had them about 5 years and we're very happy with them. I always check reviews for products I buy online.

I have bought a number of tables at Bargains and Treasures. You may want to check them out.

Other sources for tables and chairs is Bed, Bath, and Beyond, Sam's Club, and Costco. You can order online and return them to the store.

Try Wood You in Ocala. If they do not have it they will order it.

Name Brand clearance stuff can be a deal.

But there is a lot of cheap crap on the site.

Starting buying from B&T in 2010, stop by weekly their inventory is really low since September.

Sams and Costco have great large tables, but nothing in the size I am looking for.

BBB is in a world of hurt for inventory in stores. I couldn’t even buy our usual coffee, or find comforter’s and sheets. Plus one doesn’t know how long they will be around.

Wayfare is a huge company, but I've had absolutely no luck with them. Everything I've bought from them, as been a "story". Not showing up on time, damaged, problem to return, etc.

Try Overstock.com. Much better customer service in my opinion and priced lower than Wayfare.

First purchase from them was years ago now. Was very nervous, but just delighted when order arrived. After that, ordered a number of items over the years. Only one item ever came damaged, an "apothecary" style chest, unique style. Called immediately and they apologized profusely, I asked about return instructions for the damaged chest, they told me they were sending out a replacement THAT SAME DAY, and told me to donate the damaged chest to a "worthy cause" ! After that experience, I've ordered a number of things, from bar stools, to full size table with folding leaves and matching chairs, end tables, and many other things. Very happy with them for about 7 years now !

Ordered king sheets from Wayfair after two weeks nothing. Customer service said they would look into it. After another two weeks passed we cancelled order and got a refund. A month later the wrong color and size sheets were delivered. Returned.

I've ordered lamps from them twice. They have an incredible selection, and the prices were good. One arrived with a blemished shade. They asked for a photograph, which I sent, and they quickly sent a replacement shade. I did not have to return the defective shade. I would order from them again.

Have made many purchases from Wayfair. Mostly wall decor, bedside stands and end table. Very pleased and never needed to return anything. A huge selection in every department.

Have not had good luck w/Wayfair. More expensive but good quality is Grandin Road. They have a catalog and website. This is a step down from Frontgate. I have ordered bar stools, an outdoor bench, an entrance way table & lamps with great success over the past few years.

Default Wayfair

We recently moved in to an unfurnished home in TV. I purchased a bunch of furniture from Kent up in Belleville (good selection, excellent customer service, but not inexpensive). The rest of the house was furnished from Wayfair. Bed, dresser, mattress-in-a-box, nightstand, 6 lamps, barstools, kitchen table/chairs, lanai furniture, etc. Everything arrived when promised, in prime condition. Prices were excellent, quality good (not as good as Kent, but less than half the price). Just plan to spend lots of time assembling it all with an allen wrench (provided). A power drill with allen attachment is helpful on some pieces.
