last night the weather was the lead story on the national main stream media. With all that is going on in the world....the weather?

Just another subject that is over blown to scare and intimidate and sucker viewers in to needing to keep watching because they will save the day!!! BS.

When we were kids we found out how bad the weather was when WE WALKED to school!!!!
6-12" snow storms in Erie, PA were barely news worthy There was no such thing as no work because of the snow...GE for example made it a policy, open for business no matter the weather.

The sensationalizing of the weather and the theatrics and the graphics along with the verbiage of dangerous....BS.

Warnings of true severe weather are duly recognized. The problem is they have deteriorated to giving warning for a ripple on the water.

I suppose over all they do contribute to an over all good....as long as one has the knowledge and presence of reality to sort the theatrics and ratings bait from what is real.

I grew up in Erie where if there was less than 50 inches of snow by Christmas it was called a mild winter.

Yea, it's a bit early, but not completely unheard of. I remember about 20 years ago that we got a couple of feet in Boston on Thankgiving day.
