Thank you for posting this. I had no idea they could break car window glass until I read this article on the local on line news.


I immediately think of kids. I didn't have a gun like that, had no brothers who did and our kids and grandkids didn't. I think they are the same as what we called B B guns? My grandfather said they could blind someone. Whoops. You called them B.B. guns. Thanks again Jan.

You can actually kill a small animal with a pump pellet gun. I had both as a kid----my Dad would certainly frown on me incorrectly using either---that's putting it mildly.

Definitely sounds like kids without proper parent supervision.

I'm glad I keep my car in the garage. Hope they catch the little twerps!

I had one of these kind of rifles as a preteen. They can kill rabbits, ducks, mice, rattlesnakes, moles, voles, gophers and coyotes if hit right.

I always considered it as dangerous as a .22 rifle. If hit in the eye or temple a pellet from one of these could easily kill a person. I see there have even been deaths from getting hit with a pellet gun on other parts of the body. http://www.indystar.com/story/news/c...death/3784679/
