Will the officer be indicted? Do you think this is similar or different than the Trayvon Martin killing?

Very little has been heard concerning the officer's injuries - a broken eye socket and other facial injuries. These wounds are consistent with an observer's statement that the officer was struck through the open cruiser window by the man who was ultimately killed. Hopefully those in charge will relate the entire events of that sad day. People will either trust, or not.

Dr. Biden was on this morning and in a sort of round about way said that that the officer's story is corroborated by the autopsy evidence. When the Grand Jury does not indite the officer it will not satisfy the hate mongers and riots will ensue.

Without witnessing the tragic event personally, it is very hard to comment. My hope is that justice is served, and that the population in the area is ok with the results. Protesting and violence doesn't bring back the departed.

This is way different from the Martin case. Apples and oranges.

It cannot go smoothly. The Jesse Jacksons and Al Sharptons of the world depend on racial conflict for their livelihood, have significant influence, and do their best to promote black discontent.

Here is an example of how facts get distorted:

I'm guessing that he will not be indicted on any major charges. After that the professional rioters, agitators, etc will show up. After that the Attorney General along with all the resources of the Department of Justice will do their best to charge the officer with Civil Rights violations. I will stay out of the political arguments but unfortunately the politicians are going to do whats best for them politically regardless of the officers guilt or not.

I think this case is nothing like the Trayvon Martin case

Yes, agree that this is the most likely outcome.

the case has sort of downgraded to like a pilot light in a furnace. Just flickering harmlessly. And then we have the media and the Jackson's and the Sharptons and all the imported hell raisers all marching in lock step to throw their fuel onto the harmless flickering pilot flame.

Nothing in it for the hordes imported to demonstrate. And everything to gain for the media and racist antagonists.

It will get ugly and there will be attempts to make it spill across the country.

Just watch the media as they play it out every hour of every day.

All we can hope for is that the people....all flavors and colors do not let it happen. Remember all the media, Jackson, Sharpton, the imported demonstrators....none of them live there!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Let's be clear here. The only reason this story has or had legs was because of the claims of it being a racist shooting by a white cop. So whether indicted or not a riot will commence. The only difference will be the extent. If no indictment St Louis will burn. If indicted some will riot to express their contempt for the fact that it happened.
