I swam with the manatees last year at the grand "young" age of 66 I'd taken my teenaged grand children to Crystal River for the experience, and am so glad I donned a wet suit and snorkel, discarded my fear and jumped in. FANTASTIC adventure.

That just reminded me that last year I swam with and actually rode a dolphin, and zip lined on nine different lines. So much fun I might do them again. A fun thread.

In honor of today's unique date. 12-13-14 I ate a piece of red velvet cake for breakfast. Never had red velvet cake before, but husband brought it home from store last night. Funny thing is, he thought he was buying a strawberry cake !

I love hearing about activities I might like to try.
Shrandell, what month did you swim with the manatees?
Perhaps that activity is out for me as we're not here in the summer months.
I think the manatees move south when it cools down, not sure?
