Wink What are your favorites in the entertainment world....

Here’s a cold weather activity...

What are your favorites of all time:
- TV entertainer?
- Movie Actor/actress?
- Singer / Band?
- TV show?
- Movie?
- Best act you’ve seen in person?

Mine are:
- Johnny Carson – Still miss him being on TV.
- Marlon Brando.
- The Beatles, of course.
- Friends – ALWAYS makes me laugh
- The Godfather – so many good lines, so little time.
- The late, great Walden Robert Cassotto, AKA Bobby Darin; Sang, danced, played multiple instruments, made us laugh. Put on a fantastic show.

Feel free to list your favorites and add more catagories if you like!

If you saw Howdy Doody in person, you are my hero. That was my childhood dream..unfulfilled. Maybe that's the basis of my adult issues?

Favorite Television Show:

--must be The Golden Girls because I can watch the same ones, over and over. Great lines. I liked it when it started, but now I understand everything they are talking about. (but I wish they would get rid of that stupid laugh track.)

Favorite Movie:

Body Heat - Set in Florida. Steamy Florida. And Kathleen Turner is so wicked and William Hurt does not know what hit him. (And I cannot remember if Body Heat is based on an old movie from maybe the 40's. It has that feel to it. I know there was a remake of The Postman Always Rings Twice but that one used the same title.)

Well, here I am digressing all over the place, early in the morning. So I only got two categories taken care of.

And I just noticed that both of the favorites are set in Florida. And Carl Hiaasen is one of my favorite authors. - I know that was not a question. - just noticing there is a pattern here. Speaking of patterns. I have got to stop digressing....for this morning anyway.

Mark.

I like your choices. Mine are more current, but I am younger than you.

AND I so agree with you as far as best act...I have never laughed so hard or so frequently as I have with the clever, witty, hilarious, outrageous, hysterically funny people I have met in The Villages.
