Default Sunpass Help

Hi,

Already did some searching on this and can use some clarification.

First off can I buy a sticker for $5 at publix? I keep seeing something about that. Then I see something for $25. When you purchase the sticker does it have any $$ (for tolls) on it ($5) when I purchase or is it just the sticker fee price and you have to add toll money?

How much do you have to put on it at a time? Is there a minimum?

Going to be running to MCO and back a few times in the coming months and trying to figure out if this would be better than getting a roll of quarters every trip Will have to do one or the other tomorrow.

I have the old kind, bulky, and batteries have to be replaced every couple of years. To load the tolls you go the website and give them your Credit Card # . I keep a $10. balance and just about every time I do a round trip to MCO they debit it for another $10.

I don't know about the $5.00 one at Publix. But, I bought the $25.00 one in January. When you register it online, you get $25.00 added to your account. So I put $20.00 one it and received $45.00 credit.

I went right to the web site and ordered the transponder. It is interchangeable if you own multiple cars as long as you log onto your account and register all your vehicles. I believe that you get a discount when going through the toll booths as well. I have $25 put onto my account and when the account gets under $10, they hit my charge card for another $25. Sun pass also works when you park at MCO as well.

Check out their web site at Florida's Turnpike - The Less Stressway™ and see if it is something that will work for you.

I only keep 10 bucks in the acct..But when I actually leave the reservation, sunpass automatically adds money to the account by charging to my card on file..

The less expensive version that actually sticks/glues to the inside of your windshield is for that vehicle only - it can't be moved from one vehicle to another like the higher priced version. Also, if you get rid of that vehicle and replace it with another one, you'll need to buy a new SunPass dealie-o for your new ride.
