Default Earmuffs?????

I really do understand that people get acclimated to Florida temperatures and that anything below 60 is probably chilly to them. Honest, I do. But heavy jacket, gloves and earmuffs on a golf cart that is 3/4s enclosed? It's a whopping 53.3 outside right now.

I was sitting outside in a tank top and my standard capris having a cig when a golf cart drove by with two women. The passenger had on a heavy jacket and hat, not sure if she was wearing gloves. The driver was bundled up for below freezing. And these were two women in their 60s, not in their 80s.

Well, at least I had my morning chuckle.

Send them up North where the temps will not leave freezing for the foreseeable future. Wish I was there and away from the cold, snow and ice,

Well I live in Arkansas and it's as hot here in the summer or hotter than Fla, but I have always been colder than other people. Our winters can be anywhere from 70's to the 20's just depends on cold fronts. I do find it colder now that I have acclimated from Michigan temperatures. Sometimes I can have a jacket on when it is 70 outside. There are people that get hot easier than others and those that get colder than others, so it is just the mechanics of their system.

Talking

Sure could have used some earmuffs while out walking Bosun this morning. Brrrrrr.
It is a bit chilly but we must remember the cold doesn't settle in here like up north.

It feels colder because it is so overcast today. I feel like I'm back in Pa.
Just kidding...I know it is much colder there. I am thinking about going back for a bit in late February to tap our maples. I just don't know if my "Floridized" body will take the cold.

Default Ear muffs

Hey guys, Don't complain, we are in a deep freeze in New Jersey .The forecast on Friday is for a high of 18 DEGREES. Of course we rather be with all of you permanently. Tell Dicky to do this to keep warm. The Villages Florida

Red, remind me at the TOTV luncheon and I'll tell you about the time I wore earmuffs and a bathing suit in Hawaii.
