Xavier, I only meant that I know how you feel about this and we would just be rehashing old arguments. It sounds like a slight, I know, but I didn't really mean it that way.

I, unlike you, admire Sarah, but she is not my choice to run against Obama. That said, if she's the candidate, I fight tooth and nail to help her get elected.

How about a good tea party ticket of Christine O'Donnell and Sharon Angle? I bet the Mad Hatter (Newt Gingrich) would be a guest of honor at that Tea Party. John Ensign - the Republican who resigned in shame for personal ethical situations - could send out the invites. Have David Duke serve the cucumber sandwiches, too.

It's nice to enjoy a good laugh with your fantasies, I guess. You won't be laughing mid November 2012, so enjoy all the foolishness now.

Last election never happened, last election never happened, last election never happened; just keep saying it so you can fantasize that the country doesn't know what's killing it now.

You think this is purely partisanship, when it's about survival. All you government pension types are in la la land.

Tbugs--- Yes, John Ensign is resigning and he should. Republicans almost always resign, when there are ethical problems, For Democrats, ethical problems are career enhancements.

Did anyone think Barack Obama was a serious candidate a year and a half away from the election, certainly Hillary Clinton did not think so. Agree with RichieLion that we need a conservative to run then the voters will have a clear choice to make.
