excluding the synonyms in 2-5, number one certainly is inappropriate.

Anyway, what is happening is those who are merely against something being proposed that affects them and FINALLY standing and being counted are labeled by the WH whiz kids and the obedient media.

I do believe that eventually the same angy Americans will get sick and tired of the media being the one for one amplifier/puppet of the WH.

Let me see if only an unpopular government can take over and control what ever they choose....and if those who oppose that government are cast as mobs and belittled and attempted to be spied upon.....what form of government does that sound like?

Anyway the more appropriate/accurate term is Angry Americans Finally standing to be counted....FINALLY!!!!!

I guess the press (mainstream) has a short memory. Was it that long ago that the media actually encouraged mob scenes and would bring every camera they had to record it and show it on the nightly news.
Most recently it was the Cindy Sheehan drama. Sheehan and her mob would protest and act outrageous to provoke and incite arrests so they could be filmed. This went on almost daily to the point of saturation. Towards the end when her act got old and boring there was more people from the press than actual protesters. The media encouraged and condoned her.
But of course, I will not go into details about the anti-Bush signs and chants that were also encouraged at these mob scenes. But I will say that alot of the signs did not wish Mr. Bush good health.
