On the other hand while all those people were out there losing their houses the Republicans voted against trying to help them.

When you make it this black and white, AND I DO NOT THINK IT WAS THIS BLACK AND WHITE IN ANYWAY, then I am opposed to helping them also. That is not a lack of compassion, but as I said, it was not as black and white as you say.

Bear Sterns was bailed out by a pack put together with the help of the Fed chairman. Fannie Mae and Freddy Mac will be bailed out because the government will have to do it. But did you see the amount of compensation the CEO's of each got while Rome was burning.

I just believe that the middle class is in trouble mainly because of the policies of this administration for the past 8 years. It reminds me of the stories my father used to tell me about the era of the robber barons.

We need balance in the government and right now things have moved to far over to the business side.

Yeah, these CEO's were poor up until 8 years ago Sorryfor being sarcastic, but to think that whatever bothers you about big business began with George Bush does not make any sense !

Default The Pattern Of Executive Compensation Began Sometime Before George Bush, But...

...a sound argument can be made that both executive compensation as well as the influence of lobbyists for special interests worsened dramatically on the watch of the current President.

See my other post regarding the "changed labels" on this forum. I know you've already read it, Bucco.
