we each have our opinions of what is or is not respectful which varies based on age, current environment and in this case political bent....from afar...not privy to dialogue prior to...or during picture taking.

Rank may have it's privileges but emotions sometimes roll past rank, usually not intentionally.

In my opinion her gesture has nothing to do with moral/political/value decay.
Some of the things we elect to focus upon as wrong in this 'permissive everything'-anything goes and is OK day and age is sort of surprising.

That gesture might be on page 27 of the ever growing list of disappearing values and or anything goes.
