Default Environmental Disaster

There was an oil pipeline rupture and over 105,000 gallons of crude oil has spilled out onto a California beach and into the water. The 21 mile long beach area will be closed for a long time, affecting livelihoods of businesses, besides contamination of the ocean.

This is another good reason to slow down off shore drilling as well as to stop more unnecessary pipelines such as the Keystone XL.

Yes you're right. Effective immediately request that you stop driving your car and golf cart ...plus turn your electricity off to save the planet

Thank you for walking the walk vs simply talking the talk

It is absolutely not a good reason as one has absolutely nothing to do with the other.

Do you advocate dispensing with any and all activities that result in the use of or dependence on products from oil drilling?

Or maybe to be consistent in proposed hypocracy there could be a way to have all those born after your birthdate need only dispense from the use of oil products!!

Would you enjoy having 105,000 barrels of dirty crude oil dropped in your backyard?

There is a glut of oil worldwide. The Keystone pipeline would transport tar sands from Canada to Texas for refining. The Koch brothers are main beneficiaries so naturally all of their bought and paid for Republican congressmen are for it.

Ah yes, the evil Koch Brothers! Thanks for reminding us. But what about the despicable Faux News ... Aren't they somehow to blame as well. ?

They AND George Bush for sure. Why don't people on here READ a bit before posting. They simply look stupid.

This has nothing to do with the thread, but relates to some of these uninformed poster. A day or so ago, a poster actually posted on here saying the Republicans, or congress would not, had not even debated the AUMF from the President....THAT was shocking and people like that actually get to vote.

Talk about looking stupid ... your moronic and habitual Bush bashing is sooo old. Get an original thought, and an original critique while you're at it.
