Default Bil & Hiilary

FOR THE REPUBLICAN HILLARY BASHERS
On a trip to Great Britain while he was President of the United States , Bill Clinton had a meeting with Queen Elizabeth. During that meeting he asked her, "How does one manage to run a country so smoothly?"

"That's easy," the Queen replied, "You surround yourself with intelligent ministers and advisors."

"But how can I tell whether they are intelligent or not?", asked Bill.

You ask them a riddle," she replied, and with that she pressed a button and said, "Would you please send Tony Blair in." When Blair arrived, the Queen said, "I have a riddle for you to answer for me.

Your parents had a child and it was not your sister and it was not your brother. Who was this child?"

Blair replied, "That's easy. The child was me."

"Very good," said the Queen. "You may go now."

Sizing up his wife's chances in her presidential bid, and thinking back on that meeting, Bill Clinton spoke to Hillary. He said to her, "I have a riddle for you, and the answer is very important. Your parents had a child and it was not your sister and it was not your brother. Who was that child ?"

Hillary replied, "Yes, it is clearly very important that we determine the answer. Can I deliberate on this for awhile?"

"Yes," said Bill, "I'll give you four hours to come up with the answer."

So Hillary called a meeting of her campaign team, from top to bottom, and asked them the riddle. But after much discussion and many suggestions, none of them had a satisfactory answer. She was quite upset, not knowing what she would tell her husband, the former President. As Hillary was leaving her meeting she ran into her most formable challenger to her presidential nomination, Barack Obama.

So she said, "Mr. Obama, can you answer this riddle for me? Your parents had a child and it was not your sister and it was not your brother. Who was the child?"

"That's seems pretty easy," said Obama, "I think the child would be me."

"Oh thank you," said Hillary. "You may just have ensured my nomination for the democratic candidate for the Presidency of the United States !" So Hillary went back to Bill and said, "I think I know the answer to your riddle.

The child was Barack Obama.!"

"No, you Dumb :edit: !" shouted Bill. "The child was Tony Blair"

The bottom line... guess where we're headed with the two of them again running the Country!

I heard that joke over a year ago, with Bush and his cronies as the ones asking the questions rather than Bill clinton.

I've seen a lot of negative things said about Bill and Hillary but this is the first time I've seen it implied that either one of them are stupid. Bill did some stupid things but he certainly wasn't stupid. Hillary has some shall we say interesting ideas at times, but they certainly aren't stupid.

Now, I have heard that Bush's iq isn't all that high and some of his comments when he is speaking off the cuff certainly seem to imply this is correct.

So, Cliff, HUH????

Red,

Bush's performance surpassed Kerry at Yale. He isn't the best off the cuff speaker in the world, actually he stinks, but the comments about his intelligence are dumb in themselves. I've seen some of the best speakers selling vegimatics at state fairs. I sometimes think that for some people, the gift of gab is the most important criteria for a president these days.

I have no idea how intelligent Bush actually is. As I said, I have heard that his iq isn't all that high. It obviously is above average (or at least I'd like to think that the president of the world's most powerful nation is a few steps above average) and, as you said, his off-the-cuff remarks are a total disaster and good for a joke or two.

I still stand that the joke makes more sense against Bush than Bill and Hillary. In reality, it is a joke that really shouldn't be applied to any of presidential candidates. They have shown a level of intelligence that hasn't been around in many a campaign.

Red - I agree with you, even though we are totally opposite in political orientation. As a joke, it makes more sense for Bush. As a reality, Bush did ok at Yale, and does have an MBA from Harvard, so he isn't stupid. Articulate he ain't. BTW, I enjoy your posts and think you do a great job stating your positions without be abrasive. As I said, we would probably disagree about everything political, but if I lived in TV I would enjoy having a drink with you. Merry Christmas.

Red & Rd, I'd like to join you. It would be enjoyable. We're coming down the 27th to visit our friends in Valley Verde and then leave for a New Years cruise out of Canaveral to the Bahamas. As far as George goes, in a canned speech he does well, when he has to shoot from the hip, he gives me chills. I do get myself bent out of shape with the constant and unrelenting attacks by the main stream media. They're undeserved and only serve to denigrate us all in the eyes of the world. With all that said, It's still fun to have some discourse about the political scene. Especially over a few beers.

Okay, we're hijacking and I apologize, but you guys find the time and I'll do my best to find a way to meet with y'all. Do have company the 28th and 29th, but free otherwise.

We'd have to agree to not discuss politics, though.
