Bucco...I am not condeming anyone by saying they are staunch republicans..tehn can be if they want..As for Mr Morse..I think the man is brilliant to acomplish what he has in his lifetime...And if he chooses to endorse the Republican Party..that is his right.... I simply state that the Democratic Party did not get the same publicity as the Republicans when a visiting celebrity came to TV..namely Caroline Kennedy...Yes this is also his right..I dont have to like it...SO do you think I should move because of this??? Well I know that many of my FRIENDS on TOTV have said...just ignore these postings....but I have to say that on this one....it WAS NOT UNINFORMED!!! It was clearly stated on the Obama web site that Caroline was coming....I just said it was my opinion...that The Daily Sun should have at the very least printed this....it was nothing about censorship....nothing about the "controlling" developer....it was just a piece of news that should have been in the paper....

This was not uninformed....this was not political...and I believe I stated that....it was just my opinion (and apparently some other's opinions (including your friends)) that it should have been printed.....I did not EVER state who's fault it was....the democrats, The Sun or the developer.....

Cassie, I really don't care to revisit this thread but for clarification; you're remark was premature and caused a large ruffle because of the way you presented the information. If you felt that strongly that the information should have been in the paper, you should have contacted The Daily Sun to find out their intention. If you didn't want to do that, you shouldn't have asked, "why is this not in the newspaper".

I know tabloid news is hot now but I'm not into it. I'd like to see a more even handed tact, personally. And it sounds as though Barefoot was thinking along the same lines.

In fact Peachie...I did contact the Sun...and the democratic party....and the Obama site.....NO ONE seemed to have a good answer....


I did wonder why it was not in the paper....in my opinion it should have been.....she is a BIG name for TV's....regardless of her affiliation....

I brought it to the attention of TOTV because I knew that there were several others who would want to know....and AGREE that it should have been/could have been posted in the paper....

In fact....if I am not mistaken....I was thanked (by some) for bringing it to their attention!


Bottom line is....
THIS is old news.....why do you (Bare and/or Peachie) feel the need to bring it up once again....I believe it is over!! Most of us have moved on....but thanks for wanting to clarify everything! I am sure it is appreciated.....

Well perhaps what you view as a life lesson for me.....is not important to me!! You are not meant to be my teacher apparently. While I respect the views of others and have learned much from them....I choose not to learn from you...whom I do not know...and have felt nothing but distention from.....

Rekop, I'm sure you're still upset with me calling you out on your previous posting in which you stated TV wouldn't allow the delivery of USA today. (It appears you have deleted that statement now and I think that was a good idea).

My concern is that people try to post in a responsible manner and not with untrue assertions or trying to inflame emotions with false hype. I told her the thread about Caroline Kennedy coming to TV would have been interesting enough. Let's face it, you probably wouldn't have made the USA Today gaff if it was not for her post and there were other posters who were extremely upset.

There is more than enough stress in the world lately without more being generated by such posts. If you noticed, I did not address anything about Cassie personally, I did address one of her actions.

Actually, my husband made the gaff about USA Today - he got his info from someone who didn't have all the facts, and for that he apologizes. That aside, I thought your post to Cassie was condescending. But you're right, we all don't need the stress. Let's move on.
