Similarly, Clinton said, “You know, to just be grossly generalistic, you could put half of Trump's supporters into what I call the basket of deplorables. Right?” Although it is surprising that someone running for President would be so open about despising everyone who disagrees with her politically, that at least makes a certain kind of sense. A socialistic Democrat detests people who believe in capitalism and conservatism.

On the other hand, it’s hard to understand how Americans could vote for someone described this way by John Podesta, one of her closest aides, “I know she has begun to hate everyday Americans, but I think we should use it once the first time she says I'm running for president because you and everyday Americans need a champion.” If you consider yourself an everyday American, which describes the vast majority of people in the country, how do you vote for someone who HATES you?

AUSTIN — Illegal immigrants have boosted the state's economy by $17.7 billion and haven't been a drain on state government — but they did cost local governments $929 million in 2005, the Comptroller's Office reported Thursday.


The report by Comptroller Carole Keeton Strayhorn is the first comprehensive effort by the state government to calculate the benefits and costs of having 1.4 million to 1.6 million illegal immigrants in Texas.

Overall, the survey found that illegal immigrants pay more in taxes than they receive in state services.

The Texas study may be the first by a state, but it is hardly the first of its kind. Previous studies on the financial impact of illegal immigrants have been undertaken by a number of groups, including the nonpartisan Urban Institute and the Center for Immigration Studies.
Undocumented workers in the Washington area, according to the Urban Institute, pay a hefty share of taxes, but they contribute less than they should because many are paid off the books and do not file yearly tax forms. A report by the Center for Immigration Studies, which favors reduced immigration, said that illegal-immigrant households imposed $26 billion in costs on the federal government while paying $16 billion in taxes.

This week, Immigration and Customs Enforcement authorities raided meatpacking plants in six states in search of illegal immigrants they said were using illegally obtained Social Security numbers.
Early in the year, the House tried to crack down on the immigration problem with a tough proposal that would have turned about 12 million illegal immigrants in the country into instant felons.

Of the total criminal aliens arrested in that timeframe, over 134,000 or 66% were identified by DHS status as being in the US illegally at the time of their last arrest.

Another 'cut & paste' job without supplying the source of the info.

It's obvious that those who constantly do this, are afraid to show that the info they get is by such a biased source...that they don't want to be laughed at.

As I've stated many times, the real answer to the problem of illegal immigration is to throw in jail those who hire them or don't do an adequate background search.

Then again, what would we do when half the Morris family is in jail...and your amenity fees skyrocket?
