Wow, they sure didn't mind making a fool of old Bernie. It was rigged from the start, just like I said. He almost embarrassed them by pulling off a win. But, they had their deck stacked and marked.

He never pretended to be a Democrat. He wanted to make a difference and knew going the way Perot went and other 3rd party candidates was futile. I think everyone expected Biden would run. I don't think anyone expected Bernie's socialism ideas would ever gain any traction but they did. The contributions [$27] a pop kept rolling in. If you work with kids or work in the public sector you never know who you inspire. How many were inspired by Martin, Bobby and Jack? I don't think there is a more honorable soul on the hill and someone will pick up where he left off.

go ahead take your shots--

If you don't expect a response, why in the world would you post?
I don't take except to what you said, other than Bernie being portrayed as a good person. NO one that knows him thinks of him as kind or decent. He is known to be grouchy, sometimes mean, and critical. No big deal, but he is not the kind old grandpa that is portrayed. He is a socialist and his pie in the sky ideas of entitlements would never have happened, regardless if he was elected or not. His ideas would have tripled the national debt in one term. There was no way to pay for what he was promising. His idea of a hard working society apparently did not include himself, as he did not have a full-time job until he was 40 years old. WHen he needed money he wrote. He wrote some pretty poor stuff also, some of it resembling poorly written porno. No, his ideology is not of American values and would never happen.

Except for a couple of paragraphs he has explained a thousand times, how do you know the rest?

While the picture says it all....why aren't more people curious about why Bernis just rolled over and continued to back the witch after learning about the DNC and cross eyed Debbie rigging of the system....AGAINST HIM.

How did he go from an aggressive beat the traditional form of government to just stepping aside when there was real fuel for his taking.

Something smells....politics as usual.

You can learn something if you are not sitting on social media blogs and forums all the time. There are other sources of information out there besides children chatting and wishing for Obie's Utopia.

Bernie has a reputation for being mean spirited and grouchy, by his colleagues. I am sure you have already read some of the trash he wrote when younger. You already know that he did his honeymoon in communist Soviet Union. What more did you need?

Do you know what a primary source is? That's what I can't find. That's what I want. Primary source - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Honeymooning in Russia is nothing. A couple of paragraphs that he has explained is nothing.

Friend, I have no idea what you need? A primary source for what? Do you have to have a newspaper quote by someone else in order to believe a comment in a conversation? Do you ask your friends to give you a link when they say it's hot outside?

What do you think of LBJ? Everyone has stories to tell. Direct experiences working with the man. That's a primary source.

I can't find any primary sources about Bernie describing what he is like to work with, what his personality is, can he be trusted, does he have a heart.

I know all those things about LBJ from reading primary sources.

I had a friend for a little while that was a congressman. A divorce ended that relationship. He had Thanksgiving with us one year and I did ask him what some politicians were like that he worked with. He is a primary source.

The only thing I have to judge Bernie is in interviews and speeches.

What you hear on this site is the opinions of others and who knows if they are making it up or where they got it.

Now do you get it?

Yes, I do. And I appreciate your patience with my terse reply. I agree that some could be making it up. But, although off the top my head I can not provide links, I do remember hearing several interviews from his peers saying as much, as well as reading several news articles supporting that opinion of him. Even some of the congressional staff have been known to say he is abrupt with them and sometimes mean spirited if others oppose his view. He has been known to treat those that work for him as he would university students or children.

If I come across another article on this issue, I will remember to provide a link.
As for his resume' it's all over the Internet, as well as his publications from yesteryear.
