Default Question for Democrats on no fly zone Syria

Hillary Clinton supports and has supported a no fly zone.

The President passed on that action in the past

"White House Press Secretary Josh Ernest seemed to rule out the idea of a no-fly zone as recently as Tuesday. “On the no-fly zone, our position on that hasn’t changed, which is at this point that’s not something that we’re considering,”

"In an apparent break with the Obama White House, Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton called for the creation of a no-fly zone inside Syria Thursday, the day after Russian warplanes started bombing rebels fighting the regime of President Bashar al-Assad.

“I personally would be advocating now for a no-fly zone and humanitarian corridors to try to stop the carnage on the ground and from the air, to try to provide some way to take stock of what’s happening, to try to stem the flow of refugees,” Clinton said in an interview with NBC affiliate WHDH in Boston after a campaign event nearby. "

Do you support Hillary Clinton or President Obama ?

Bush attacked Iraq for violating the "No Fly Zone." Would Hilary be willing to attack Syria? If you are going to draw a line in the sand, you have to be willing to back it up.

Liberals are all bluster with no muster. They seem to have no qualms in regards of humiliating themselves and America by showing they are cowards. Then when their hand is forced, they respond with a limp wrist slap in the face against a knife wielding adversary.

General Wesley Clarke, Senator Bob Kerrey, liberal cowards? How naive to think that only the right wing are patriots.

You are correct.

It has just appeared that way based on the liberal leadership.

If all has to do with THEIR leader. If the Commander-in-Chief is weak, then it doesn't matter what you have in your weapons cache. Bluffing in poker is only good IF the opponent understands that game. If they call your bluff, you have to be ready to fish or cut bait. History seems to indicate that Hilary would NOT back up her threat, so a no fly zone would be useless. The middle East already knows that we are all bluster with no muster.

Again and still, no posts from any progressives.

Why do not liberal/progressive posters ever express a view on issues ????

This is an issue with sides and it has even gotten a bit more complicated with our "troops on the ground".

Why do not progressives on here ever post on issues ?????

"For four years, they sat together in the Situation Room, the ultimate team of rivals confronting the world’s thorniest problems, mostly on the same page, sometimes decidedly not, but generally presenting a united front to the outside world.

Now, with the administration’s approach to Syria seemingly in tatters, the differences between President Obama and former Secretary of State Hillary Rodham Clinton have opened a fresh wedge between the two, with Mrs. Clinton arguing for a more robust approach and Mr. Obama dismissing her ideas as campaign politics."
