Default Factcheck.org : Trump lies on Libya

Trump referenced his oft-stated belief that it was a mistake for the U.S. to get involved in Libya, and that we would be better off if Libyan leader Moammar Gadhafi was still in power. But he fails to mention that he called at the time for just such an intervention. In February 2011, Trump, referring to Gadhafi, said that the U.S. should go into Libya “on a humanitarian basis” and “knock this guy out very quickly, very surgically, very effectively and save the lives.”

It was mistake and trump didn't cause it. Obama and Hillary Arab spring blow up in the faces and took terrorism to new level like the whole Middle East. I mean damn, you want to bring up somebody's comment that had nothing to do with creating the BIG problem.

BS is like a drug and some are hooked pretty bad on it!

What a coincidence most are Clinton supporters.

We understand the need for some sort of anesthesia.

In what government capacity did Trump make any statements regarding Libya? OH, he was a civilian? Interesting. SO what he said means nothing. On the other hand, Obama and Hillary were directly involved as gov employees.

Ok..help me understand.

It is ok to "Monday morning quarterback", EVEN THOUGH you publicly agreed with the "quarterback". Do I have that right ?

It is then ok to run for President, and publicly lie in order to win votes. Is that correct.

So, OJ Simpson, were he not in prison, could run for District Attorney on a law and order platform, and critique the legal team that did not get a guilty verdict.

Trump is not the only one deranged.
