With 300 million lost souls in this country he could have done better. He lost at least one admirer.

This "woman" refused to act, based on her conscience. Whether she was legally right or not is the question, not whether she judged. Religious convictions trump legality when it comes to conscience. Whether she will lose her job and/or have to pay some sort of penalty, is up to the courts, not you. Gotta love it when a liberal suddenly becomes/acts moral. Not knowing, but guessing that the Pope probably wished to give her moral support. If you are a liberal, you will always find fault with someone of faith, regardless of what they do or say.

I'm not Catholic and I don't agree with some of what the Pope says, but some followers of the Pope take everything he does as gospel. I won't disparage him, even if I don't agree with some of his socialist leanings. He is from a socialist country, so one must take that into consideration.

To some, he is a religious icon. To me, he is a political leader with a religious faith blended in. I respect ALL Christian faiths/religions and will not demean the faith, even if I might criticize a political view.

On the other hand, all political pundits, candidates and elected officials are fair game and I will disparage them at will.
