For most of this year, we now know, President Donald Trump’s repeated insistence that he wasn’t under investigation in the Russia scandal was in fact true.

It’s not true anymore, according to a new report by the Washington Post.

Reporters Devlin Barrett, Adam Entous, Ellen Nakashima, and Sari Horwitz wrote Wednesday evening that special counsel Robert Mueller is now probing “whether President Trump attempted to obstruct justice” — an investigation they say began just days after Trump fired FBI Director James Comey.

Specifically, they write, “five people briefed” say that Mueller’s team will soon interview Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats and National Security Agency Director Mike Rogers, along with Rogers’s former deputy, who recently left the government.

A spokesperson for Trump’s personal lawyer issued a statement that conspicuously did not deny the story, merely saying, “The FBI leak of information regarding the President is outrageous, inexcusable, and illegal.”

It's not hard to imagine Melania covering poor Barron's ears about now and trying to get him away...from the raving lunatic that is his father is at the moment.

As and addendum, if you recall with Watergate, all WH aides spent time in jail....I am betting that now we know Trump is under criminal investigation, lawyers are being hired.

Decent people can only hope, that Trump will actually be stupid enough...
to try and force Rosenstein to fire Mueller.

Hopefully Rosenstein would have the backbone to refuse to do it...which would then really force Chump's hand.

Should Trump replace Rosenstein with someone who would fire Mueller, and in spite of appearances to the contrary, I still have confidence that there are enough Republicans who love their country more than their party...that they would quickly re-establish him as an independent counsel.

Which would be a YUGE win-win for our nation.

Comey's good friend, Mueller is reportedly running amok, making his own (or Comey's) decision on what to investigate. The investigation was supposedly based on Russia's interference on our election, and now Mueller is reported to be investigating Trump on the theory of Obstruction of Justice. Who authorized this investigation because that is NOT what he was hired to do. As a matter of fact, he should be recusing himself from the investigation due to his long time friendship with Comey. There shouldn't even be a "prosecutor" investigation since here has been no "crime" defined to be investigated. This is just the left going after the President with a hit man. Time for all of this nonsense to cease. Is Mueller going to investigate Hillary also? Obama? Lynch? All of them showing more evidence of obstruction than Trump.
