Don't they check ID's at Cody's?

Well, as promised, I was at Cody's from 1:15 unti 2:15 today hoping a couple of you geezers would show up for a beer and meaningful chat. Guess all the big talkers are hiding in back of their keyboards.

Your loss. Anyhow, the bar burger and Stella Artois beer was excellent.

No one showed up, huh? That doesn't surprise me, as most of use prefer intelligent conversation. I just hope you didn't spend all of your allowance while you were waiting.

By the way how does your Dad and grandfather feel about your disrespectfull name calling..
1. I was at Cody's today waiting for you just as I posted yesterday. You just hid in back of your keyboard and did not show up. Why not? I might have bought you a beer. Your loss, geezer.

2. Use a spell check program. "Riddance". "Disrespectful".

This forum has deteriorated into a juvenile name calling game with very serious overtones.

When a poster announces where and when he will be somewhere and issues a challenge TO STRANGERS....that is scary.

And to do that takes very little brainpower thus who in their right mind would ever do that.

This experiment in adult conversation has failed miserably.

I do not think it is appropriate to cast a doubt of any kind across this forum, or any other, for the actions of ONE PERSON!!!!

I for one am sick and tired of conclusions about how we live and behave based on minority or incidental occurances.

How about the rest of us who did not participate in the wacko invitation.

I believe you owe the rest of the participants an appology for casting them in the lot with the isolated wacko!!!!

We know if he was there or even not, he would cry out nobody showed to add more validity to the phony challenge scenario.

Most likely not even in the same state.

May be a good move for VP Joe Biden. I kind of doubt if he will commit to it because of the loss of his son Beau. We will probably have Hillary Clinton facing Jeb Bush, if Bush ever gets his act together and people wise up to the Donald's rather empty-headed policies. Bush does have a lot more substance and has the name recognition. I like many of the Republican candidates quite a bit more than Bush and certainly much more than Trump.

Too soon to make any predictions. And for what it is worth this campaign is playing out like the game of golf. It is becoming a game of contradictions.

The belief is that Trump's rants about illegal aliens is losing both he and the GOP Hispanic votes. But as it turns out the legal aliens are siding with Trump because they are feeling the effects more so of illegals both from the standpoint of jobs and crime. they want the illegals stopped. will it remain so???? Again too early to predict.

Is Joe Biden better than Hillary???? its a toss up.

I will continue expressing a concern that Obama has turned this nation upside down and its going to take a real statesman to right this ship of ours. voters would be wise not to lose focus of this fact

Personal Best Regards:

Do you see the responses to your post? They just made your case for you. The problem is that they don't think they are doing anything wrong. Like the man said in a previous thread, Republicans aren't responsible for anything including bad behavior. When they do outrageous, the devil made them do it.

Bush is a bit too moderate for me. The more he speaks, the less I am encouraged. He sounds so unprepared and seems to stumble with his wording quite frequently. I am sure he would do OK as pres, but I'm not sold on him yet, and less so the more I hear from him.

I'd like to hear a bit more from Kasich. The little I have heard him speak in the past seemed to indicate a good common sense approach to things. I'm not sold on him yet, but I am interested in hearing more. Maybe we'll learn some more in the debates.

Too bad Fiorina is going to be shut out of the activities. I would like to see her compete with the big boys. I think she could hold her own, if not proving that she belongs in the first tier.

Dr. Carson is interesting and smart. He is a bit out of his element, but shows good common sense. I don't think he is electable right now because Obama messed it up for black representation due to his poor performance. Too many voters are gun shy right now. No pun intended.

Huckabee would be an excellent choice, but won't get the needed votes. Carrying his faith on his sleeve is OK for many of us, but some would get nervous.

But, I digress. This thread is about Biden. I hope that the Democrats are smart enough to understand that Hilary is a liability to the party and support Biden. I really think that Biden is reluctant to run, and more than a bit tired and worn down. If the Dems get lucky and elect someone again, I would hope it would be Biden. I see absolutely no one else that would be able to get congress to work together again, after Obama and his Pelosi and Reid twins hosed up bipartisanship.

Huckabee lost me with the Jahi McMath case. Young teen who had complex tonsil/sleep apnea surgery. Something went wrong, she had uncontrollable bleeding, and suffered brain death. Six independent Drs declared her brain dead. Huckabee took up for her, compared her to Terry Schaivo.

There is no comparison, this poor child is dead ~ even though her body is, to this day, lingering on machines.
