These guys have some explaining to do. They embarrassed the president, they embarrassed the secret service, they embarrassed their boss and co-workers, they embarrassed their families, kids, parents, in-laws. They brought these women into restricted areas, from what I read, and could have themselves become victims of blackmail. I hope it was worth it, as they will eventually probably be fired. It's really too bad because they had great jobs. It was probably a long ride home from Columbia for them to be confronted by their bosses and then their wives.

Now, only one major question remains to be asked.

How will the wuber-conservatives blame this on President Obama?

Let me be the first. Lack of management. Bleed the taxpayer. Fun and games. Rum and whores. Running a muck. Let me add, they have seen the boss and his family enjoy luxury vacations, maybe they wanted to let their hair down too.

The Secret Service came into existence in 1865 and stated guarding Presidents twenty years later. I would wager that the incidence of sexual misconduct has been much greater in those the Secret Service protect than it has been in the Secret Service itself. These guys messed up and will pay the consequences. I wish that all our politicians would have to incur similar consequences for their actions.

Please make a list of all the indiscretions that have occured in the Obama household since the president was elected or before he was elected.

it is really so, so very simple. Try as you may, you cannot be selective about what happens when Obama is in the WH and then trying to pull the old red herring crap about what others will have to say is just so very (remaining polite) predictable!!!!

IT HAPPENED ON HIS WATCH, he owns it, like it or not!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, BTK,
It happened on his watch and he owns it. Okay, how about all of your wuber-conservatives who say that Osama bin Laden's killing was none of President Obama's doing?

As we are getting so used to saying -

I thought BTK would like a few more items of Junior Bush that according to BTK it was his responsibility since it happened on his watch as President.

October 3, 2008
At the onset of financial crisis, President Bush signs a $700 billion bailout plan for failing bank assets, the largest in U.S. history.

October 30, 2008
U.S. gross domestic product drops by 0.3 percent, the first time GDP has shrunk in 17 years.

November 4, 2008
Barack Obama is elected the next President of the United States in an historic election in which Democrats win in several traditionally Republican states and pick up seats in the House and Senate. Obama is the first African American elected President.

November 25, 2008
The Treasury Department and the Federal Reserve agree to provide another $800 billion in lending programs to buy debt insured by Fannie Mae and Freddie Mac and to provide more small loans to consumers.

December 16, 2008
Federal Reserve cuts interest rates to an all-time low of zero percent, down from 1 percent and 0.25 percent earlier in the year as part of a plan to stimulate the economy.

December 19, 2008
President Bush issues a $17.4-billion auto bailout to General Motors and Chrysler to keep the two American automotive giants from going bankrupt.

I am sure the wuber-conservatives will agree all of those things - as well as many more - are what they all love.

Oh yes, once again - Get used to it!

Sounds like this one is headed for the Political Section.

Bottom line if we are discussing the Secret Service Agent situation we should first identify it as "personal conduct issues" not "criminal conduct issues".

The agents were off duty, The agents were in a country where prostitution is legal, The agents were NOT part of the presidents protection detail, they were the "advance team" sent to coordinate with police and set up logistics for the visit.

The idea that some want congress to investigate is ludicrous. Congress has had far more issues with sexual conduct problems than the Secret Service.

At the end of the day I believe the Agents will be disciplined for personal conduct issues which could result in suspensions etc;

People seem way too quick to jump to conclusions before all facts are in. IMHO.

Poo-poo runs down hill. Rotten at the top, rotten at the bottom. Our criminal congress is going to investigate, what a laugh.

JackZ is right on this. However, I would think the Secret Service agents will be terminated and not just suspended. It does not matter if prostitution was legal or not, the Secret Service did wrong by using them. Anyhow, if they were married guys, their wives and divorce lawyers will take care of them better than a Congressional investigation ever could do.
