Default Campaigning

As the President and First Lady travel the country to campaign for Hillary can someone please assure us that the costs associated with this activity are not being paid for by the taxpayers and are ALL billed to Hillary's Campaign or the DNC?

I wish, we foot the bill.

In the most recently available figures, the cost of operating Air Force One averages approximately S180,118 per hour, according to the Air Force. This figure includes fuel, food, repairs, and basic maintenance.

George W. Bush didn't use Air Force One (code name - Dummy One) to campaign for Romney 4 years ago.

Oh, the Republucans were distancing themselves from George W. Bush because he was so very unpopular. Bush's approval rating was 22 percent when he left office. Pres. Obama has a 56 approval rating. Bill Clinton had a 60 percent approval, Jimmy Carter had a 34 percent approval.

Maybe the Republicans can trot Dick Cheney on this last day to say how he approves of torture - but just seeing him would be torture for most people!

Trump will be sent the bill for operating these planes, just like he will send Mexico the bill for building the wall.

"Q: When Obama campaigns for Clinton, how will Air Force One or any kind of the government travel and Secret Service associated with the president's campaign work be paid for? Is it the Hillary Clinton Campaign? Is it considered an in-kind contribution? A donation?

FEC: While in office, the president, vice president and first lady each may engage in official, political and campaign-related activities, either separately or in combination. Official expenses are paid by the U.S. government; the costs of political activities are paid by the national party committee and campaign expenses are paid by the candidate's campaign committee.

The party or campaign committee that pays for the political or campaign-related expenses must disclose its payments on reports filed with the Federal Election Commission.

The White House evaluates travel by the president, vice president and first lady to determine whether it is official or political in nature. Consideration is given to their official duties. Federal laws mandate Secret Service protection and other forms of assistance for all of their travel, including political travel. The costs of these services are assumed by the various government agencies providing them.

If that's correct Clinton's campaign will not pay one penny.

She will have the Foundation pay for it.

You know, like Chelsea wedding and the foundation gave here a 10 year living gift, all without paying taxes.
