Default I am just so happy!!!

I am just so happy that Donald Trump has been elected president!! I have been walking around on cloud 9000.

I am 71 years old and I recall being pleased when other Republicans were elected, but nothing like this. I remember being very pleased that Nixon was elected in 1968 and I was excited when Reagan was elected in 1980. In 2000 I was happy that the pompous Gore was defeated and in 2004 I was relieved that Bush (my favorite president, so far) was re-elected.

I am very much looking forward to finding out what Trump will do when he takes office.

Stockholm Syndrome...loving your captors/masters.

They screw you and the country and you say...please sir, may I have some more?

What you "like" about them is their carefully managed public persona.

You probably LOVE certain actors too? The better they can lie and convince us they're someone else...the more you like them?

Man...what a piece of work he is. Women more than men, probably a woman I'm replying to. You're such suckers. So naive, so easily fooled and manipulated.

Actually, I am a male with a PhD in mathematics, so I am not the dumbest guy around.

You will probably be seeing a very different Donald Trump than the one on the campaign trail. That's if he does not get impeached in the meantime. Can Donald Trump Be Impeached? | Law News

If there were respect for the rule of law, that would happen but since there really is not all that much justice in Congress-- just politics as usual-- Trump will probably get away with another con game.

so you start a thread being from VA, your state went to Hilly, but lost now the sour grapes?

Do some math, the cases will move towards settlement now.

Judge tells Trump University litigants they would be wise to settle

Trump Lawyers to Begin Settlement Talks on Trump University - ABC News

he (the judge) encouraged efforts to settle.

When a judge says that both parties listen up hard.

There's nothing wrong with being excited about your party winning. Look at the celebration when Obama won. It did not matter that he preached socialism or that he was a radical, he was the FIRST black man to be elected. It is pretty obvious that the right is able to accept defeat much more graciously than the left. You have never seen the right demonstrate and become violent when we lost. This is what America has become with PC. PC has made our children expect trophies for participation and no one goes home a loser. Everyone has to be a winner and no one is a failure. That is why the left believes this election is a disaster. They are poor sports or poor losers. Two years from now, you on the left will be able to change congress just like we did. For two years when Obama was elected, the left did anything they wished without obstruction. You passed Obamacare, the worst and most costly disaster ever. Now, it is up to the right to see if we can do something constructive in our two years. If not then shame on us.

We are already hearing of threats to impeach Trump. Obama did not have to worry about impeachment, ever. Admit it or not, no one was going to try to impeach him for his abuse of power, because he is black. If the "black" president was to be impeached, there would have been riots in the streets of D.C. and all over the country.....just like when MLK was murdered. Trump will not have that protection going for him.

I am not going to tell the left that they must respect Trump, because I did not respect Obama. To me, Obama was a racist and a socialist. I do not accept either. I did not know Obama so I did not hate him, as the term is commonly misused by the left. I neither liked him or disliked him. I did not like his ideology and could not accept it. The left will not like Trump's ideology even though it is more like theirs than the right's. He is more of the old school Democrat type, than the right wing Republican type. He is very moderate.

Like you told us regarding Obama, you don't have to like him but you have to accept him. The same goes for Trump. Like him or not, he is our president. Accept it or not, I do not care. You all were offended when I did not accept him as the messiah. I do not care whether or not you accept Trump. I am OK with America's decision to elect him. I am hoping for a positive change in the right direction, but I am also pragmatic enough to believe that he is going to have trouble with his changes by both parties. I really do hope that he can drain the swamp.

Did your mother treat you badly? I am pretty sure your wife is afraid of you. You aren't nice in any way I have found yet.

Have you had your picture posted in the online news?

Hatred is ugly. I don't like what I read from you.

Donald Trump is a very different person that Barack Obama. Trump has had many hundreds of lawsuits against him many for cheating ordinary people out of their hard work done on his projects. He lied, bullied and trolled his way through the Primaries beating 16 people all of which were much better candidates than he will ever be.

We will see if Ivanka Trump can guide her Dad to do the right thing but from his choices for cabinet he is going after the biggest mosquitoes in the swamp. He is not draining it at all.

I would have liked Hillary Clinton to have won but she also had very serious problems with respect to ethics and character. And she would have had an extremely hard time getting anything done in DC because of all her history.

Trump's lawsuits?
I don't know about you, but I do NOT pay for inferior work that I contract. And I have seen a lot of folks get hosed in The Villages.
I don't really care if you like Trump or not. That's your problem, not mine. I don't put much stock in those that supported the scumbag, traitorous Hillary. To me, she is no better than Benedict Arnold or Charlie Manson. She is a felon, whether convicted or not. The Democrats would have won if they would have had just about anyone else running for president. But no, they HAD to have a female first. That is their egos that caused their ultimate defeat.

Saying you would have liked Hillary to win, means that you voted for her. Adding that she had her flaws is your manner of justifying your loss. You showed your character by admitting that you wanted to elect the first female, regardless of her history. And I do not mean to disparage you or your choice, just pointing it out.

Trump won. He will get his chance to make history. He will get his chance to make some changes. That was Obama's thing, to change America. Trump said he just wants to make America Great again. America was great until radicals insisted on attempting to model our country after the European standard. Now, it is time for America's redemption. Even if Hillary insists that we are irredeemable.

Deny the truth and find some way to justify it...eh woman? Don't like me so nothing I say matters? Got a real retort and not more name calling? Yes, I'm blunt and honest and you don't like it...next.

Hatred of their ACTIONS and a willingness to do something about it, just may save your country. They're a metastasizing cancer on society.

You really R throwing out totally incorrect info, do your home work before posting lies.

He had 60 lawsuits from contractors, he had every right to dispute work he felt was inferior. All were settled one way or another.
