As I stated, I believe Trump will retreat into his cocoon of 3:00 AM Twitter rants...while Pence acts as the de facto POTUS.

It was reported yesterday that, since elected, Trump has only had two intelligence reports (PDB's). Someone should explain to him that once sworn in, his number one job is to keep this country safe, and he does this by being briefed every day. Pence is being briefed daily. Trump should learn that the buck stops with him, not Pence.

Obama missed over 90% of his daily intelligence briefings. Has anyone changed the standards?

President Obama, when he was president-elect, asked for extra briefings especially related to Iran. All president-elects have been getting the PDB since Nixon, except Trump. Lucky for us he knows more than the generals.

Somebody needs to take Trump aside and explain to him his number one job is to keep the country safe, and you do this by learning the intel. Obama was correct when he said Trump knows nothing and is not interested in learning.

No surprise to me.

Chump isn't smart enough to understand them anyway, so it's good to see he's at least smart enough to send someone else.

Given that Pence will be the de facto POTUS, while Trump stays up late railing on Twitter at those who make him cry...we should get used to it.

I guess Trump is not a menzamenz. So sad.

Glad we have a real self proclaimed menzamenz to set us straight about Trump's intelligence.

The dumb guy, who against all odds outsmarted everyone into the presidency.

I suppose he truely believes he knows more, but you show a lot of ignorance calling someone naive on this.

Or...maybe...the whole thing is propaganda bullsh!t to convince you the spend a $trillion a year on "defense"?

Maybe Trump knows that too...that it's mostly hyped up bullsh!t some some can get rich.

Or...the real probability...you don't REALLY know sh!t about what Trump does and doesn't do. Do YOU personally follow him around all day? Do you have a private detective do it? So, you really don't know what he does and doesn't do all day. There's no news people following him around in his penthouse. Stop talking like you KNOW what you're talking about.

White House Admits Obama Skips Most Intelligence Briefings

Obama attended less than 44% of his intelligence meeting.
================
Obama Skipped 62.5 Percent of Intelligence Briefings This Year
===============
MSNBC 10/1/14
"According to the “Government Accountability Institute,” since President Obama’s second inaugural, he’s received in-person daily intelligence briefings 41.26% of the time, and written daily intelligence briefings 58.74% of the time. Under the White House’s system, if the president has follow-up questions or requests additional details after reading the written report, intelligence officials then provide more information upon request."
===================

Vice President-Elect Pence, however, has taken the intelligence briefing nearly every day.

The same "intelligence briefings" that allowed Pearl Harbor, Gulf of Tonkin, 911, and was wrong about WMDs in Iraq?

Maybe they should skip them all.

He only "outsmarted" a bunch of white bigots, racists, xenophobes and misogynists.

Not exactly a tough challenge.

There is ONLY one poster on here that posts his bias against minorities. And he says he is neither Republican OR Democrat, so you are totally off base by labeling the rest of us in your petulant manner.
Typical conservative hysteria! Someone has a different opinion from you and they "have mental problems." Don't expect the people who oppose the racist and hate fueled campaign rhetoric of Trump to drink your Kool-aid or goose step around the squares with you. Count the popular vote. There are more of us than there are of you, and we are now, and always will be bad losers.
