I think we agree, albeit for different reasons, Ellison would be harmful to the party should he be chosen.

Biden is yesterday's news.

Dean is viewed by many as semi-psychotic, and while thus qualified to lead the DNC, would also be yesterday's news.

O'Malley was a roaring success in raising the Baltimore crime rate, and notwithstanding many women are attracted to him physically, he's not that bright.

What really becomes increasingly apparent is the shallow bench the Dems have after 8 years of imploding (Fed, State, local level) during the Obama years.

Ellison is being considered because the left lost their black vote. The left believes he can get them to turn out to vote in the next election.

That's part of it. I think the main driver however remains the Dems' focus on identity politics. In the twisted world of contemporary Leftist Dem thinking, they think having a Muslim in charge is apparently "the" ticket to winning back the blue collar vote.

As I've said in earlier posts, I'm supporting Keith for the job ... no one better.

The latest reporting is Joe Biden is not interested in the job, and the White House does not support Cong Keith Ellison, a Bernie Sanders supporter. They haven't suggested a replacement.

Posters on this forum should be more concerned with their own vacancy at the RNC to replace Reince Preibus.

Speaking of transgender I read the other day where some app ( can't recall which) gives a person up to 37 choices for gender.

Does anyone know if that's true?? If so more evidence-- indeed compelling evidence-- that liberalism is a genuine mental disorder

As to winning/losing, the pendulum always swings.

And I'm sure you're talking about Congress (since you haven't seen the White House in 8 years), which has been in uncharted 'disapproval' waters...since about 2010.

By electing Chump however, I think it has been given a big shove...and will be swinging the other way soon.
