Two points:

1. Enough already of your faux outrage and reflex throwing of the "bigot" "hate" charge ... sooo tiresome and sooo transparent. You really need to up your game.

2. It is obvious to all, except those who choose not to see, the Star Wars bar scene of characters Obie has invited to attend the Pope's event is one more, GIANT middle finger being extended by our sorry excuse for President.

Another poster that doesn't know the definition of BIGOT. Also good at accusing others of not being open minded. Fact is, that being open minded to sin is not a good thing. I'll leave it up to your god to forgive, and I'll just forget.

I'm sure that the Pope, being the Christian he is, will forgive the Muslim for his blatant attempt to flaunt a deviant lifestyle in the Popes face. I am sure that Obama, the Muslim cares little for the feelings of the moral majority.

It is quite obvious that I am better than some others. But, thanks for the reminder that you know what judging others is all about, as YOU judge others.

This was said by a famous contemporary politician and it is one of the very few things on which I agree with him.

Quote:
“Too often in our country, and I think both sides bear responsibility for us, there is to much shouting, at each other, there is too much making fun of each other.”

“It is easy to go out and talk with people who agree with you.”

“It is harder but not less important for us to try and communicate with those that do not agree with us.”

Apparently, Obama has decided to make a mockery of the Pope's visit (23 Sept) to the White House by inviting a bunch of weirdos as well.

By inviting this group of weirdos to the White House during the Pope's visit, he is demonstrating his religious intolerance.

Atheists
Gay nuns and priests
Transgenders
Pro-abortionists
Also attending is Gene Robinson, the first openly gay Episcopal bishop, who left his wife of 14 years for his male partner, then last year “divorced” that partner.

…..
The reason I called this poster a bigot is because he/she referred to gay people and right to lifers as weirdos and said the Pope would be offended by them. Additionally the poster showed intolerance and hatred of Muslims, even referring to the President of our country as being a Muslim. Even if he was, which he isn't, why would that be a big deal? Only a big deal if you hate Muslims, and are a bigot. One last thing: If being called a bigot bothers you so much, you are always free to stop being one. You might want to try acting like the Christian you purport yourself to be. Otherwise I am going to continue to call people like you what you are. And what you are is a bigot.

Slight correction required for accuracy:

HE DOES NOT CARE AT ALL

Referring to gays as having a "deviant" lifestyle, and showing hatred and intolerance of Muslims, sure fits the definition of bigot: a person who hates or refuses to accept the members of a particular group (such as a racial or religious group). And then to call oneself a Christian??? You must have learned a different brand of Christianity than the religion that most in this country practice. Yes, you may call yourself a Christian, but you are certainly a hate filled one.

Full Definition of BIGOT
: a person who is obstinately or intolerantly devoted to his or her own opinions and prejudices; especially : one who regards or treats the members of a group (as a racial or ethnic group) with hatred and intolerance
— big·ot·ed
\-gə-təd\ adjective
— big·ot·ed·ly adverb
See bigot defined for English-language learners
See bigot defined for kids

So a christian like everybody else can be tolerant and be OK!
Hence as long as one is tolerant they are not a bigot (not a "full" one anyway).
So a statement like;
I dislike muslims and can tolerate their presence as long as they do not try to convert everybody around them.
No bigotry intended at all.

A contemporary politician with whom I pretty disagree said this. It is the one thing that we should all agree on.

“It is easy to go out and talk with people who agree with you.”

“It is harder but not less important for us to try and communicate with those that do not agree with us.”

I know it's hard to admit one is a bigot. The hatred and intolerance one shows towards gays (deviants) and Muslims qualifies you though. If it makes you feel better to call yourself a "partial" hate filled bigot, go for it. Thank goodness, fringe fanatics like you are far outnumbered when it comes time to go to the polls.

Please note that I did not say hate, seems to be a hang up for you. And I did say I would tolerate them. This takes the wind out of what ever point was intended, however it is what I said not what you want it to say.

The important point to be made is what I intended.........not a convenient re-statement thereof!

All you seem to do in your posts is rant rant rant about bigots, racist, bigots, yadda ad nauseum.

Here's a suggestion--go look in the mirror and shout at yourself until your inner liberal rage is cleansed. Not quite as good as confession, but may help you nonetheless.

Finally, let's get your definition straight ... you use "bigot" as an epithet to smear or attack people that don't have your enlightened view of the world.

That's because what you deem as enlightened most normal people, with common sense, view as deviant .... which is why we don't like it being shoved in our faces by you and your left wing buddies.
