By your definition Obama can hire, say, 500,000 secretaries for the federal office pool at taxpayer expense and claim them as "jobs created" although no real economic value has been added.

wait a minute - isn't this a redistribution of taxes to 147,000 more govt employees who are not producing anything tangible for the economy? if i had been able to keep my share of those tax dollars I COULD HAVE STIMULATED THE ECONOMY MYSELF instead of having someone else do it! didn't obama just say something about wanting the middle class to keep their $ because they know how to spend it better than the government does?

I wish I had the figures on the infrastructure rebuild on the repair of the bridges in this country that are going to Chinese companies and Chinese workers.
