The biggest problem I have with Trump not releasing his tax return is that he has based his whole candidacy on making so much money but is unwilling to specify (With any kind of real documentation) what his assets and debts really look like. We just take his word that he is worth billions without any concrete proof. The proof we do have actually makes it seem as though he has much less money than he says (The homeowner tax credit he received from NY that is only supposed to go to households making less than $500K a year for example)

If Trump's income was less than his loss, then he did not have an income exceeding $500K.
