Default No kidding, you think so?

"White House officials foresee exploding deficits and mounting debt over the next decade.

* Deficit Could Hit $9 Trillion"

This is the headline I just saw after returning to my home page on Comcast. NO sh*t Sam! The government is spending like a drunkin sailor and BO says he foresees exploding deficits! I didn't even read the article because the heading speaks for itself!

Default I just read an article that ended by stating that Obama

is comfortable sticking with his agenda knowing he may be a one term President as a result.

The article also mentioned that what Obama and his team counted on his charisma to carry what ever was put forth. Totally not anticipating the back lash and the negative response the drunken sailor funding programs have produced.

Assuming all above were indeed true, it shows a bit of arrogance? Political stupidity? An under estimation of how long one can fool we the people with an articulate speech?

I give equal weight to all the above.

George Bush (heads up Bushies) used to say stay the course and then do what ever he thought. Obama doesn't say stay the course but does, no matter what. Just shows the party insensitivity of ANY person with the power of POTUS.

It just gets dumber and dumber. Trying to spend yourself into a more solvent fiscal situation is like trying to drink yourself sober.

The downfall of the USSR was trying to keep pace with the US Ruble-for-Dollar in defense spending. We had a strong economy then and they were fiscally weak.

Now here we are with a weak economy and we're trying to outspend the rest of the world, and we're doing it by hocking the future like there isn't going to be one anyway. At this rate.........
