" President Obama often seems to reside in his own private Idaho
on foreign affairs . So it was no surprise that at his Pentagon press conference Thursday he forcefully denied that his Administration had paid $400 million in cash as ransom in January for the return of five Americans in Iran ."

" We do not pay ransom for hostages, he said . We didn`t here and we won't in the future , precisely if we did we'd start encouraging more Americans to be targeted . "

" Mr. Obama with his talent for imagining a world that he would like to exist , may even believe that Iran released the hostages for reasons other than the cash the U.S. delivered ."

" If Mr. Obama is right that he paid no ransom , then how des he explain that Iran has taken three more Americans as hostages since those January payments ? An unhappy coincidence ? "

" What matters to American credibility is what the mullahs of Iran believe . And it`s obvious they believe that arresting and holding Americans in Iran is a useful way to extract money and concessions from the United States ."

Surely everybody understands the legal word game being played! Right?

Was it ransom?
NO!

Did the payment need to be made before the prisoners would be released?
YES!

But that was an old debt just paid..........that has been kicking around for 30 years.......


Either pay the debt or no prisoner release!!
If one is gullible, or stupid, or a member of the media or an Obama suckster or a radical dem.........you buy it.

The rest of the world including Iran calls it ransom.

It is not ransom for Obama the same way Bill Clinton did not have sex with that woman!

When there is an issue that we all agree upon, and even the loyal dems cannot refute....


it gets really, REALLY quiet!!!

Maybe there is a chance yet!!! (I refuse to use the Obama/Clinton abused word hope).
