While the article refers to Trump for what ever reason, just forget the reference and learn how the delegate system works.

It is and has been obvious this is a process that is out dated and needs updating.

I do not think there should be any opportunity for a process to over ride the will of the people's vote....period!

Why use delegates at all? Why not go with the popular vote? The way things are going, Trump may be shut out because of a brokered convention and HRC will win because of Super Delegates. With the Electoral College, a candidate can win the Presidency but lose the popular vote.

So why is there not a ground swell of anger rising to make the powers that be aware this is unacceptable.

Why waste all the millions and billions of dollars to make it look like we the people should vote for one or another....if a political process or system can over ride the will of the people.

Why doesn't this concern and anger more people?? Of course the ones who benefit from the distortion will say nothing (until it affects them)........just like not approving a supreme court nominee in a lame duck year....right?

The system is fixed, that's why. Trump won't win unless he's supposed to win. The electoral votes from the electoral college are the ONLY votes that elect the president. Your votes are pretty much for show... It really doesn't matter to "them" which party or which candidate wins, the system will go on stealing from us.

If we could arouse as much dialogue about this issue as there is for many other subjects of lessor impact......maybe there is an opportunity to change for the better.

Then tell them to boycott BOTH the D and R party this year. If everyone voted Libertarian, we'd have an "honest" former governor and a strong message to the powers that be that we've had it with the cronyism.
