Just had an idea. I'm just going to take a pass on this forum until the candidates begin to talk about the issues. At ths point, there's really nothing "political" going on here. No more than between the candidates.

When the candidates finally begin to discuss issues--I surely hope they'll begin to lay out some specific plans and positions soon--that'll give us something meaningful to debate here.

Oh, if a particular national problem or issue or particulaly meaningful piece of information comes up, I may post something on it. But I see little purpose in participating in the same exchange of ideologic, sometimes vitriolic, almost always demeaning and often unresearched posts here. I don't like getting drawn into those exchanges, and I know sometimes I have.

So, nice having the opportunity to exchange ideas with you all. Maybe again sometime in the future. But not untl there's more " meat" to our national politics. Thanks.
