Don't pray for GOD to give us the strength to kill our enemies. What a crock.

If you pray before thinking, you cannot make a good choice. Wake up and grow up.

Believe different than what I say above and you put yourself in with the beliefs of those like Westboro Baptist Church of Topeka, KS.

You and Villager II thinking alike? Not a surprise to a few here.

Did Villager II say the same things about JFK?

How about FDR calling on God during WWII.

You sir; are no real Christian if you believe as you do in your heart.

A Christian DEMEANING the power of Christ and the power of prayer?

Incredible.

If you think that your own human reasoning is superior to God's infinite, all-powerful and all-knowing mind, you'd best start praying real hard.

And read Romans 1, especially verses 20-32. And especially verse 28:

28 Furthermore, since they did not think it worthwhile to retain the knowledge of God, he gave them over to a depraved mind, to do what ought not to be done.

Default Rick Santorum

Rick Santorum will be speaking right here in lady lake at the American Legion hall on 466 and Rolling acres rd...monday, jan 23 (THIS monday!) at one thirty pm.
this is a special tea party meeting time..no seats can be saved so get there early if you want to hear what he has to say. we have to vote so early here in florida, thanks to the Rep heirarchy, that there is barely time for anyone to campaign....another push for Gov Romney, indirectly?

I know, I find myself in the middle more than the right. Then when met with the I AM RIGHT AND THE HECK WITH THE REST OF THE WORLD attitude, rather than pull me in, it pushes me over to the left. It is as if you are not allowed to agree with even one view point of the left if you are a conservative and vise versa. Now that does not apply to all posters and I will give you an example:

The names of the members have been changed to protect their identity:

KittyCatNightTimeClothing posts with love and conviction from the heart about her faith. This attitude makes me want to be a better Christian and citizen.

LionHeart posts with an old testament SMITE THEE ye sinner. This attitude shows intolerance that was never taught in my Church upbring and drives me away.

You have big cajones to talk about other "intolerance". Maybe you should read what you yourself write.

You are right in that I am intolerant of intolerance. I do respond to intolerance, but I do not initiate it. I see that may look like double standard, but I see it as a defense against a wrong. I would never poke at someone just to make them feel bad. But thats just me and what you do is your business.

What does any of this have to do with Santorum, Romney, or health care?

Well said. It is like when I was in school and a bully was picking on someone, even someone I didn't know, I could not ignore it. I would challenge the bully to pick on someone their own size. Never started a fight, but finished a few. Now I await to see how richie turns twists this around. Always entertaining.

I know. I have met him and he is an OK guy. That said, I hope he does not know how insulting he can be as that would make it even worse. I feel he just plays the game without understanding the effect he has on some people.

The reality is that this forum, and richie, and you and me, has exactly zero impact on the real world. It is just a way to express ones views and opinions. I just find it bad manners when someone cannot respect others views and opinions, even if they don't agree. And yes, I know I get personal myself, but I think if you look back you will see it is only after being attacked or personally challenged. By the way, "he is an OK guy", does not sound like a ringing endorsement.

Don't have to twist this around. I'm didn't call you out. I didn't call you a "jackass". You called me that.

Again; I never referenced you and you got offended for God knows what reason and attacked me personally. You cannot twist this.

Again; You're the one who called me names. When did I do that?

Be honest. (can you?)

I agree 100%. Same with me. I am easy to stir up, but I am getting better control lately.
