Default assault rifles

Please tell me the need for assault rifles besides mass murder. If orlando terrorist had a hand gun, he would have to pull the trigger 50 times and you know that someone would have stopped him b4 that transpired . Is the NRA reason purely for the almighty buck? Rubio voted against the last proposed law keeping guns out of the hands of known terrorist. Go figure!

The "assault rifle" in question was(per news source)not an automatic weapon so regardless of whether it was a pistol or not would have to have pulled the trigger 50 times for 50 shots.

If you don't know that you are ignorant no amount of posting ludicrous reasoning will make you any more intelligent. There are no need for 500bhp vehicles either yet people keep buying them and more folks are killed in auto accidents in the U.S. than all firearms totaled. So why aren't you ranting about that? Stupid????

sure hope you don't have an assault riffle with your rage. I thought this was a place for discussion, NOT hostility!

Not everyone is like him. Not everyone is insulting when you ask a question or have an opinion. I don't know why.

There are 3.5 to 4 million "assault rifles" currently in private hands, so the odds are that someone you know probably owns at least one - maybe even one of your neighbors.

I have one of those so-called assault rifles that you refer to. It's not one, but to you anything with a muzzle and a bore looks like a weapon of mass destruction.

I am not the one that your refer to as being "Hostile" but I can understand his perceived impatience with your type. The ignorant always assumes the worst. It is the way liberals are programed by their masters.

You won't dare to admit that this was done by a "terrorist." It's not the PC you were taught by the Muslim in charge.

It was thoughtful of you to understand your friends impatience with others not as gifted in mind reading.

These guns that kill a lot of people in a short amount of time are great for killing elementary children, gays and lesbians, movie goers, state employees at a Christmas party, students in their dorm rooms, and tons of others. These are all groups that the NRA and, by extension, republicans hate and want to do away with.

When discussing guns it is always amusing to listen to or read what the completely uninformed have to say about something they have no idea what the hell they are talking about.

They tend who parrot the politicians and the media who also have no idea what the hell they are talking about either.......but will always find a camera ready media member to get their agnda presented.....which has nothing to do with what was being discussed.

The smarter folks have some sense of not running their jaws when the do not know or understand the issue/subject/idea/opinion. The others just run at the mouth with diharea like spouting!

You are entitled to your opinion. Hope your realize how pathetic and juvenile you sound. Just remember that all those NRA and Republicans are the ones that carry guns to protect you too. And there are a lot more of us carrying than the bad guys that are not usually republicans...ie..the Pulse killings. So, all you are doing when you oppose guns is make it easier for the bad guys to get you, and harder for the good guys to protect you. And it is obvious that you need protecting.

how do you make the leap from questioning the NEED for the average joe owning an assault rifle to being a liberal programmed by a master???

Bottom line this is the gun of choice when you want to do a lot of death FAST! What possible use is this for Mr and Mrs america? Answer, No reason, none, period.

The NRA parrot and the Faux News parrot are in synch - AGAIN.

Watch out and don't shoot off you little wee-wee when you try your "midnight cowboy" fast draw.

Can't wait to see the good guys with the guns (Villagers) shoot it out with the Trump protesters at the big Trump rally. The media will call it 'the shoot out at the polo field'. Thanks in advance for protecting us.
