It's the big corporations that run/control everything, that's where the blame should go. THEY put their guys in government to do their bidding.

I have no problem with big corporations, or the wealthy. As a matter of fact, I hope the rich get richer, because that causes the rest of us to live a better lifestyle providing them with their luxuries. They also invest in the market, which means more profit and that builds everyone's retirement. You can't have it both ways. You can't penalize the wealthy and corporations and still have a decent retirement. The government does not provide your retirement, big business does. Big banks do. Investments provide the profit that makes your retirement, not the government. AND, the wealthy pay most of the taxes, so that 50% do not have to pay income taxes. Keep discriminating against the wealthy and see if you don't end up paying your fair share of taxes when the rich leave the country after closing their businesses or taking them overseas. Then you can all live a life of Sanders, with threadbare suits and poverty, subsidized lifestyle. Of course, the Sanders of socialism are the elite and will live better than the minions/peons.

Everything you said is wrong.

Me working so someone else can get more is good for me? If there are 10 people with $100 and one takes most of our money, how is that better for the rest of us? That's what the rich ARE doing, collecting more and more that SHOULD be more spread out. How does a "rich guy" getting more and more help MY retirement?

I provided my retirement, not government or big business. I saved, I made investments. They skimmed from me. Government took a cut of my profits. Corporations put those tax laws in place through control of politicians and regulators. Do you think it's an accident that most major corporations pay very little tax? Yes, the customers ultimately pay ALL the taxes, but why charge them more when you don't have to?

Don't even get me started on banks. I'll bet you know NOTHING of fractional reserve banking, fiat currencies, the derivatives market, etc. They "create money" out of thin air and "lend it to people at interest". Quite the racket. And they're SO greedy, they make highly leveraged, irrational bets, to try to make even more. Banking is a Ponzi. Your retirement is based on a Ponzi system. I'm praying it lasts another 30 years. Negative interest rates sweeping the globe does not bode well.

The wealthy do whatever they can to avoid taxes. The middle class bears the tax burden, not in raw numbers but in their % of income lost. They ALREADY left and MOVED their businesses...to China and other 3rd world countries where there are not taxes or workers rights. Unions made American workers unprofitable.

I don't want the poor stealing from me via socialism. I don't want the rich stealing from me via government.

The corporations own the government, they make laws and regulations favorable to themselves. It's gone too far and they need to be reigned in.

You proved me right. You don't know what you are talking about in regards to your retirement. You invested and made money for retirement. What did you invest in? Big business or banks? They made money using your money and they gave it back out of their profit, with interest.
It is their right to pay as little taxes as possible. Where do you get off expecting someone else to pay more taxes than the law stipulates. Even the Supreme Court said that you should not pay more taxes than the law requires.
The rich does not "steal" from you. You are an idiot that listens to socialist propaganda.
Corporations pay very little taxes? You are kidding right? You do realize that lower oil prices are hitting tax revenues really bad right now, right? States are getting hard because of their lack of tax revenues from the oil industry. The oil industry pays billions of dollars in tax revenues.

The top 20% of earners pay almost 85% of income tax revenues.
About 30% of tax filers get money back that they never contributed, due to EITC.
So, over 50% do not pay income federal income taxes.
And I do not blame any particular party. Although, Bush is responsible for the Earned Income Credit and tax breaks, and has been the cause of more Obama voters.

OK Mr ignorant...

Real estate and saving is where my retirement came from. The ONLY input from corporations/banks was the bank "made up money to lend me"...and then charged me interest.

The corporations own the government which sets the tax rates/laws. It is done in their favor. They also pass laws that takes MORE than our fair share. If you added up ALL the taxes you pay, you'd be astounded, probably half of everything you spend is tax. For a steak at a restaurant...taxes paid by the farmer on his land/equipment, a tax on the steer, tax on the food, medicines the steer took/ate, tax on the grain he ate, tax on the diesel for the tractors, taxes paid on the tractor, taxes paid to the shipper, the fuel used, taxes paid by the slaughter house, taxes paid to the wholesaler, taxes paid to the restaurant, the cook, waitress...get it?

Taxes skim from you to someone connected with government.

So, the problem is not that the rich make too much, but rather that the government taxes and spends too much.

Exactly, and the Left wants more taxes and more spending to fix the income inequality problem. Unbelievable.

I believe the topic was regarding being tired of the lawless left. Probably something to do with the disruptions at the GOP rallies.

I don't like it when others interrupt Trump or Palin. They are very entertaining.
Now if anyone would like to read about taxes take a look at the previous post.

The Right has been calling for a flat tax with no deductions/loop holes for years, and the Left has been against it, claiming that it is too regressive. Seems to me that a flat tax might just be the solution for the .0001 percent tax problem.

The problem is...the government taxes too much and through underhanded dealings, the rich end up with those tax dollars.

And, the Left wants even more government control and involvement. How does that alleviate the problem?

One family owns what the bottom 50% own. The bottom work for Walmart. Walmart does not pay very much so their employees need food stamp, medical coverage and support for housing. The Middle Class pays that bill. Does Sanders have it wrong? Would that mean more or less government?

It really doesn't matter does it? Bernie Sanders will not be the nest President. And, Hillary if elected will be nothing more than just another do-nothing-crony-capitalist.

I'm hoping he wins.

I'm hoping if just one person every now and then changes their mind about the best way to help their children and grandchildren then Bernie makes a difference.

I think Donald shakes everyone up. I like that.

so tired already of the mobs of protesters denying thousands their first amendment rights to attend Trump rallies. they have the right to protest peacefully but when they try to close highways etc something must be done about them...most are instigated by MoveOn.org, Bernie's young and ignorant supporters, Black Lives Matter and overtly leftist organizations... if any Republican Never Trump people are participating (which i doubt) they must stop to think that Cruz will be the next target if Trump is gotten out of the way.

i wonder if Bernie's crowd will riot like this when they figure out that Bernie will also be robbed of his votes by the Democrat machine. All Amercans must realize that this is in illegal method of forcing their opinions on the whole country....it worked on Sea World, don't let it work on our nation!

But your all for bundy and his crew, or doesn't that count.

They would "finagle" the system to work for them. Right now they have their shyster attorneys working on it.

The media is in the conservatives pocket. Check Fox sometime. 100% conservative and they are the most watched news in the US.

Aren't you tired of calling the media liberal, it's not only old and tired, its dead wrong.

But old man, facts have never been your forte

Do a fact check, most of the media is owned by the conservatives.

I feel sorry for the lone liberal on here. If this illiterate is so ignorant that he spouts idiocies day to day, how can anyone have the patience to discuss politics with the adults? I can see why conservatives have no respect for liberals and think that they are stupid. They believe in Republican conspiracies, and run amok in fear that someone is going to hurt them. But, as we all know IT'S BUSH's fault, until Trump takes that mantle.

Very intelligent post. lol lol

I bet the only thing you watch on television is re-runs. Must be terrible to only be allowed to look back in time.

Must be because current events are so much worse ya can't stand it.
