I have no problem with big corporations, or the wealthy. As a matter of fact, I hope the rich get richer, because that causes the rest of us to live a better lifestyle providing them with their luxuries. They also invest in the market, which means more profit and that builds everyone's retirement. You can't have it both ways. You can't penalize the wealthy and corporations and still have a decent retirement. The government does not provide your retirement, big business does. Big banks do. Investments provide the profit that makes your retirement, not the government. AND, the wealthy pay most of the taxes, so that 50% do not have to pay income taxes. Keep discriminating against the wealthy and see if you don't end up paying your fair share of taxes when the rich leave the country after closing their businesses or taking them overseas. Then you can all live a life of Sanders, with threadbare suits and poverty, subsidized lifestyle. Of course, the Sanders of socialism are the elite and will live better than the minions/peons.

Everything you said is wrong.
Me working so someone else can get more is good for me? If there are 10 people with $100 and one takes most of our money, how is that better for the rest of us? That's what the rich ARE doing, collecting more and more that SHOULD be more spread out. How does a "rich guy" getting more and more help MY retirement?
I provided my retirement, not government or big business. I saved, I made investments. They skimmed from me. Government took a cut of my profits. Corporations put those tax laws in place through control of politicians and regulators. Do you think it's an accident that most major corporations pay very little tax? Yes, the customers ultimately pay ALL the taxes, but why charge them more when you don't have to?
Don't even get me started on banks. I'll bet you know NOTHING of fractional reserve banking, fiat currencies, the derivatives market, etc. They "create money" out of thin air and "lend it to people at interest". Quite the racket. And they're SO greedy, they make highly leveraged, irrational bets, to try to make even more. Banking is a Ponzi. Your retirement is based on a Ponzi system. I'm praying it lasts another 30 years. Negative interest rates sweeping the globe does not bode well.
The wealthy do whatever they can to avoid taxes. The middle class bears the tax burden, not in raw numbers but in their % of income lost. They ALREADY left and MOVED their businesses...to China and other 3rd world countries where there are not taxes or workers rights. Unions made American workers unprofitable.
I don't want the poor stealing from me via socialism. I don't want the rich stealing from me via government.
The corporations own the government, they make laws and regulations favorable to themselves. It's gone too far and they need to be reigned in.
