Default Trump and the Death of the Dollar

Trump supporters don't see the damage that Trump is doing to our country internationally. For just one example, China is now trying to make the yuan, instead of the dollar, the international currency. What would your dollar be worth then? China can do this because Trump is not respected, and therefore the USA is not respected, and then the dollar is not respected.

The Yuan Could Replace The U.S. Petrodollar As World's Reserve Currency - And That's Bullish For Gold - SPDR Gold Trust ETF (NYSEARCA:GLD) | Seeking Alpha

WHY do you women talk about sh!t you know NOTHING about?

The dollar is "losing respect" because the US has borrowed over $20 trillion f@cking dollars. We live high on the hog and throw scraps. We bully others. We FORCE them to accept military bases. We tell them what to do and how to do it. We keep them enslaved through debt. We fix their elections as corruptly as we fix our own. It DOESN'T matter who wins when they're both corrupt.

America is bankrupt...ONLY the military and our threats of world annihilation keep us on top.

ALL for the wealthy who want to dominate the planet.

Barely a day after being tweet-slammed by President Trump, Pakistan announced new measures that will strengthen its trade ties with China.
Pakistan's central bank said it has officially adopted China's yuan as a currency for trade between the two countries, which are neighbors and allies.
That means companies in China and Pakistan can now trade directly in yuan instead of having to use currencies such as the U.S. dollar.
The decision was announced shortly after Trump lashed out at Pakistan. He used his first tweet of 2018 to say the United States had "foolishly given Pakistan more than 33 billion dollars in aid over the last 15 years, and they have given us nothing but lies and deceit."

Conducting business by tweet and trying to bully will not work

How about acting like an adult, a leader, and President of the United States and tell them to their face.

I realize he and his followers love when he is not conventional, and I get that, but let's at least act like a world leader.

Embarrassing them on the world stage while everyone is watching, seems to me to be counter productive and sort of beating your chest.

All the countries in the world are not going to roll over every time he tweets

How about we ALL admit that Islam and "The West" will NEVER agree? Will NEVER get along? That would go a LONG way in an actual solution.

But I don't think we WANT a "solution"...there's too much money to be made in conflict.

China has been trying to become the international currency long before Trump came along.. Remember, China plays the long game. They are very patient. They have been doing this for centuries.

Monetary markets are not always completely rational. Bitcoin has value, it's a sign of how desperate we are to have a form of currency for trade. I don't think Trump rants have anything to do with the value of the dollar. China buys dollars and Euros to have a currency available and respected around the world in case their is a run on the yuan. China will become the largest economy in the world, that said if you lived in Norway would you care the Norwegian economy is insignificant as long as your standard of living was pretty dam good.

Just follow the history/tracking of the US$ and one can see very quickly it's position has little to do with who is in the WH.
And of course the partisan loyals will parrot what they are directed to say....regardless!

Bitcoin has NO value. It's a string of numbers. As long as "the bitcoin system" is running, THEY give it value. But once that goes away...so does Bitcoin.

Of course...presidents don't RUN anything...they are figure heads...talking heads. The "system" runs things. The whole "government" thing is a charade...The wealthy put the people they want in office by NOT offering ANY choices. You can "pick" one of their pre-selected lackeys. The D or the R...but that's it.

I once had a boss who railed against removing the gold standard and how worthless the paper dollar was because the only thing backing it was the full faith and confidence of the American government. He didn't take up my offer of a shiny piece of valuable metal for any any bill in his wallet.

There is another issue which commonly comes up in this forum. If all of the illegals went home that would drive down GDP and weaken the dollar. Just sayin.
