I always like the idea of Guilliani as AG from the beginning and was disappointed that the president didn't appoint him.

But I thought that Sessions would also do a good job. The problem with Sessions, even though he seems to be on the right side of things, is that he's still a part of the Washington establishment. Senators will protect each other even if they are of opposite parties. Some feel that prosecuting another senator brings shame on the Senate.

Guilliani has no Washington connections. He is not part of the swamp. He did an incredible job cleaning up New York City and would make a great AG.

Sessions made a mistake by recusing himself from the Russian investigation. This has caused a problem of control on the witch hunt and it is now a runaway train that can't be stopped without derailing the train. Sessions is a good man. Since this is a mess, he could think about resigning for the sake of the country. Rudi would probably make a good AG.

I feel compelled to ask, since I enjoy discussing substance and facts.

How do you arrive at a "witch hunt" because congress is investigating the attack on our country by a foriegn country to manipulate the election ?

How did you arrive at it as a witch hunt, and then why would you not support such an investigation ?

Seems every real american should want it investigated and dealt with....oh, sorry.....100% of every investigative unit knows and proclaimed Russia as guilty but our President opposed any action against them and only signed it under extreme pressure.

Giuliani's name was considered for the AG position. But, Giuliani said repeatedly during the 2016 campaign that he regularly talked to FBI agents about Hillary Clinton's case. That would be an illegal breach of conduct, and a matter the Senate Judiciary Committee and the FBI is looking into. In late October, Giuliani said on Fox News that Trump's campaign had "a surprise or two" and "a couple of things up our sleeve that should turn this thing around" — just two days before Comey announced he was reopening his investigation into Clinton's email server. Giuliani is keeping his head down lately, you don't hear much from him.

That's cognitive dissonance for you. There won't be a second term. First, Trump doesn't really like the job, he thought it would be more "fun". Second, he's in over his head. He has not produced one single piece of meaningful legislation in 9 months. Third, more and more Republican Congressmen are electing to retire rather than face re-election questions in 2018. Fourth, the Russian investigation, whether or not you want to believe it, will be worse than Watergate. The list of Trump associates ensnared in the F.B.I. investigation continues to grow, just as lawmakers are uncovering fresh correspondence between Trump campaign staffers and individuals with ties to the Russian government. While Mueller, in his investigative role, cannot bring impeachment charges against Trump, he can recommend them to Congress. And if the ongoing Justice Department investigation reaches that threshold, Trump’s fate will rest in the hands of Ryan and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, with whom Trump is reportedly not even on speaking terms.

Nobody is interested in that Russian propaganda anymore. The Republicans completely control the entire government and they are not investigating anyone but Trump. He's been laundering Russian mob money ever since he got caught for it in the 1990s in the Taj Mahal casino.

Rudy Guilani has too many business related conflicts both domestic and foreign to be AG

Not sure if that would be a disqualifier in the Trump administration.

Well, since this has been happening for decades, and only now is being investigated, yes........a witch hunt. It seems a bit hypocritical to investigate election manipulation and not include Obama's attempt to manipulate the Israeli election, or any of our other multitude of election manipulations. Anyone that works in any of our various Intelligence organizations will laugh if you ask them about election manipulation. They have been hacking us before we were able to hack them, but just a short time before us.

I am a United States citizen. A country I served. My country was "invaded" to sway an election and it appears try to change votes.

We are not speaking of buying ads in other countries, but actual manipulation of votes casts by United States Citizens.

If you cannot understand the difference, which does not mean I endorse anythig, but if you cannot see the difference, and will not even show concern for such an intrusion in our provess along with the proliferation of fake news to brain was people like you.

If all this is your position, you are anti American. If you, and your leader find acceptable this kind of thing. If you find an investigation into this somehow offensive, or a hoax, you obviously are a different American than I.

If your concern is riveted on defending one man, and because of that you find this investigation to be anything than patriotic and necessary, you are not an America...simply a big mouth.

I suggest you read, and perhaps your uninformed rankings will become fear once you see what you are supporting

Whole lot of drama here folks, LOL.

How did you serve this country?

Please explain in detail how this country was "invaded" to "try to change votes".

Please describe in detail the process of how "manipulation of votes casts by United States Citizens" occurred.
