McCain, Paul Spar Over Jane Fonda - Washington Wire - WSJ

Mr. McCain, a longtime prisoner of war in Vietnam, responded to that Thursday, saying that clearly Ms. Fonda was not an enemy combatant and the idea that the executive branch could kill an American citizen who isn’t an enemy combatant is just not true.

“The use of Jane Fonda’s name does evoke certain memories with me, and I must say she is not my favorite American … but as odious as it was [for her to go to North Vietnam], Ms. Fonda acted within her constitutional rights.” He added, the notion “that the United States of America would drop a Hellfire missile on Jane Fonda brings a serious discussion into the realm of the ridiculous.”

It is time for minority peoples to be exempted from toiling at menial jobs . They already suffer enough by having to live in a society which constantly devalues them . Menial work further erodes their sense of self-worth .

Why is it progressives are drawn to the likes of Fonda's, Snowden's, Assange's, Cesar's, Burgdahl, El Chapo's, Castro's , Sharpton's Ayer's ................?

Progressives reference corruption, death and destruction deterred by these people who ironically all......promoted corruption death and destruction.

Yet men and women who exhibit patriotism over politics are maligned for their sacrifice?

I for one and also I believe my family and extended family are all very grateful for the service of so many generations of our military be it during war time or peacetime .
Now for the nasty words and attitudes of the Progressives toward our military . Each and every night you sleep well under the blanket of security that our brave men and women provide to you and yours thru their service .
Sadly given the state of the world that has been allowed to grow more unfriendly by this administration I fear that before not very many more years our military will be called upon once again to protect us from a growing conventional and nuclear threats .
Does anyone really believe that Iran will not soon complete a weapon system which can deliver a nuclear device and that they will not hesitate to use it .

McCain is a liar and thief just like all the rest. He was treated differently as a prisoner because he was a senators son. He's now a crazy old man with crazy ideas. He was sacrificed with the election with Obama. He had no chance, I felt sorry for him.

I think the R party learned their lesson and that's why we have Trump. "Squares like McCain and Romney have no chance. But I'm not sure about Trump.

Mc Cain`s father was not a US Senator . His grandfather was an Admiral in the Navy who was one of the US representatives who accepted the formal surrender of Japan .
