If the President was still G.W. Bush, we would all be treated to endless loops of the underwater shot of the oil leak, maybe switching to oil covered beaches and birds with a split-screen shot of Bush playing golf.
It's good to be Obama, and be feeling da luv!! http://thehill.com/blogs/blog-briefi...-humid-weekend |

Well, at least !!! I was surfing a bit at WAYNES favorite site....DAILYKOS.....saw a feature they had on the day that Jenna Bush got married....split screen pictures of the President with his daughter on her day and the other screen was folks who were injured in Iraq. An entire page of this kind of thing on her wedding day. Nice folks over there !!1 |

When you deal with people that read blognews like the Dailykos, as their source of information you are dealing with people who haven't got a clue about true journalism, fairness, balance in news articles or actually researching and thinking on their own. Here's a sample of the trash the weblog founder Markos Alberto Moulitsas Zúniga, posted according to Discover the Networks:
On April 1, 2004, Zuniga himself posted one of Daily Kos's most controversial blogs to date. Titled "Screw Them," the piece ridiculed four American private contractors in Iraq who, the day before, had been ambushed and killed (by guerrillas), mutilated and burned, dragged through the streets of Fallujah, and then publicly hung from a bridge. Zuniga's post read: "Every death should be on the front page. Let the people see what war is like. This isn't an Xbox game. There are real repercussions to Bush's folly. That said, I feel nothing over the death of merceneries [sic]. They aren't in Iraq because of orders, or because they are there trying to help the people make Iraq a better place. They are there to wage war for profit. Screw them." |

I was actually referring, as I'm sure you know, to the major networks. I'm picturing Dan Rather juxtaposing the images I mentioned and giving us his "concerned" looks.
I haven't checked out DailyKos in ages. I gave up on them even for a reasoned liberal view of events. |

I'm reading Bill O'Reilly's book Culture Warriors. He does a really good job describing the history of the secular progressive takeover of the media outlets as well as Hollywood. It doesn't surprise me in the least that they wouldn't bat an eye at Obama golfing in the midst of the "battle" going on in the Gulf. You are right, they would have rediculed Bush the same way they are blasting Tony Hayward for taking his first day off since he's been in the states.
