There is so much misinformation being spread about the Iran deal that has lead to the 22%. The Democrats in the Senate looked into in great detail the agreement, went into many classified meetings, contacted other countries involved in the sanctions, and then voted based upon what they found, and the alternatives. The Republicans rejected the deal before they even saw it. What was the alternative, a better deal.

Let's face it ... you are a genuine, no questions asked, left wing true believer.

22% of the people support this giveaway because they're subject to misinformation etc. ??? Really?

Pathetic ... how about 3/4 of the people have enough common sense to reject it. But Obama is leading a jihad ... literally and people like you are just too stupid (no other word for it) to even realize much less admit the obvious.

Nice Dummycrat "victory" ... by selling out the country.

10000 is not enough - we have room to help many more than that. And we should - and will

Dear Guest: This immigration crisis resulting from the the violence of radical Islam terrorist is the worse disaster since the 1940's.

Europe still with over whelming guilt because of the Holocaust and driven by the 1948 Universal Declaration of Human Rights has mistakenly and continues to admit people into their countries who cannot relate or wish to assimilate into their respective societies.

Once a country begins admitting refugees it will great an opening that will grow to an unmanageable economic and social level. Secondly it is virtually impossible to effect security measures that will ferret out terrorists. A policy of asylum while compassionate needs to be tough minded enough to cut off the flow by providing preventable measures that created it and to secure one's borders.

Simply stated America should not accept these refugees but provide resources at their home of origins and work with membering nations to defeat the Islamic terrorists creating their reason to leave.

Again we have the madness and manifest incompetence of this Administration's ineffective policies.

P.S. People can argue and guess about Obama's birth place ,religious beliefs, etc. But that old saw "the proof is in the pudding" prevails. Obama by omission or commission has shown himself to align with Muslims, is surrounded with staff who are Muslim and in just about any manner has never shown respect for America, its service men and women and the American people. He is Muslim, Bill Ayers and Jeremiah Wright bred

When each Democratic senator looked into the agreement with great detail, and the alternatives before voting for it, they have no common sense. Colin Powell likes the deal, if it implemented, he is a racist. All the other in P5plus1 approved the deal, they are only looking out for themselves. The United Nations approved the deal, what do they know. It is always something isn't it.

3/4 of Americans, who have never seen the deal, are smarter than the rest of the world. My, don't we a lot of ourselves! Obama is leading a jihad against the holier than thou far right. You know the all knowing, all seeing, never wrong, closed minded far right. The far right than have moved so far right they are off the grid. When a moderate, who hasn't changed his/her views, is called a left wing liberal, he/she isn't the problem.

Your own party has tried to disown the far right, but can't. Why? Because closed minded will never admit they are wrong. For them name calling and fear is the name of the game, and they excel at it.

Your posts are a joy to read ... because they are so unintentionally comical. You use the term "far right" multiple times. What a joke. This is like muttering a drug induced chant or something, probably intended to ward off evil spirits?

What you call Far Right is simple to explain ... common sense, of which you apparently have none. Just because you smear it by name calling doesn't change the facts on the ground.

The only thing that will ever change you mind on this is apparently seeing a mushroom cloud over an American City. My prediction ... you will still have "doubts" about it and perhaps find a way to blame the US anyway.

Your point is well taken in some regards.

However, allow me.....the ranking democrat on the Foreign Relations comm will vote against the deal. I would assume that he (Cardin) is well informed along with the other dems who will vote against.

I think you have it mixed up. A poster or two on here have said that anyone opposed is racist because of Powell. You cannot have it both ways in the need to call racist.

EVERYONE knew that the other parties in this deal wanted it badly. They do not have the ties to Israel that we used to have....they have had business deals and want the sanctions to end for their own economy.

The americans, 3/4 of them, of course do not have the knowledge of Sen Cardin but they see a very famaliar pattern emerging. If you have read the links supplied about the backroom arm twisting in congress on this deal, the rush to the UN to make congress look bad, and the minipulation to dis allow even a vote, it is eerily like the ACA bill.

We have bowed to Russia, etc so their economy can thrive.....we make certain conditions when negotiations began AND THEN THE COUNTRY WAS INTERESTED. We gave in on ALL points during negotiations. The President is ignoring the american citizens on this and is playing his political games once again.....and by the way, he is good at it, but I always hoped that statesmanship would trump party.....that the good of our country would trump party.

And speakng of Trump....he is getting attention because of our President and his politicking. Americans are just sick of it....not just his side, but his side has really gotten good at it and are forcing our country down a very slippery slope.

What people have said here is they do not listen to Colin Powell, because he supported Obama in the last two president elections. O'Reilly tried to throw the race card in a very polite way at Powell. Powell snapped backed that his support for Obama was on economical policies, and not race. It was quite apparent that no one here listened to Powell's interview on Meet The Press. Why wouldn't you want to hear what a former Republican Secretary of State had to say about the agreement?

Obama made congress look bad by rushing to the UN for a vote. Is that right? 47 Republican senators wrote a letter to Iranian leaders to include Ayatollah Khomeini telling them the deal wasn't a done deal. The implication was the US was going to back out of a bad deal. The Iranian foreign minister called the letter a propaganda ploy. They brought Netanyahu to speak before Congress before the deal was finalized. How do you make that crowd look any worst than they already are? Are you going to even try to say the Republicans aren't playing games with this agreement?

21% of Americans support the deal, that is right. However, 30% said that do not know if it is a good deal or not. The poster wrote that 75% of Americans think it is a bad deal. He threw all the don't knows into the bad deal column. That isn't playing with numbers to support your argument! Then, what is?

We didn't give in everything to Iran on the agreement. They wanted their military sites to be off limits. Do you think for a second that Iran wanted their supplies of nuclear bomb material to be cut back as far as they have? This Iranian self inspection only applies to nuclear sites that have been dismantled. They will supply material from the sites for inspection.

The 24 day hysteria is just that. Iran delayed an inspection of one their former nuclear sites for 10 months before they let the IAEA onto them. The IAEA still found out that they were trying to produce nuclear bombs on the site. You literally can't hide what you were doing in 24 days.

There really does become a point where you have to provide some details of what you are going to do other than repeal and replace, get a better deal, and never say how.

I will look into this arm twisting deal. All the Democratic Senators that voted for the plan did so based upon conscience and not one of them mentioned arm twisting. The arm twisting was done behind closed doors. How nice another conspiracy theory.

I will ask you what is so bad about the ACA that it will bankrupt the country as one posted said. No one has ever answered that question that I can recall.

I am typing this and already sorry that I am responding.

You are to be applauded for your total and complete support for the President, You would support this man under any or all circumstances.

Just a few and there are so many....but just a few suggestions.

First, visit the CBO analysis, which is a fluid and dynamic figure, but study the impact of the ACA on our economy, the cost WHEN IT FINALLY IS FINALLY TOTALLY IN OPERATION which is not now. Tell me how this country can afford that ?

On the Iran deal, while there is so much to say let me just ask you this question. Already, Iran is in Russia illegally negotiating ICBMS. England, France and Russia are all opening embassies as quick as they can because the money going into their coffers, along with China is going to be a massive amount. Iran is already making threats. Iran has already magically discovered more material than they knew they had....read sarcasm. They will do their own inspection of military site selected by them and get back to us.

Ok...let us assume that in the first year, Iran is caught with their hands in the cookie jar so to speak, in one way or the other...doing something they should not be doing. We say, that deal will be done.

Ok....how do you think those countries that now have a better economy and are dealing in trade with Iran will handle that ? Do you think they will say...oh, they cheated....lets pull the plug on the deal.

NOPE....all our bluster is just that...bluster. This is a NON REVERSABLE DEAL.

And as bad a deal as could be done. We rolled over on all our pre conceived ideas on what we want

I do compliment you though...you will support this administration at and on anything.

And please, despite your support for the President, can you skip the racial crap. it is insulting and does not apply, although, as the President feels it applies in everything.

You are overanalyzing. You're doing this because you are afraid of Iran ...afraid to confront, and thus you get wrapped around the rhetorical axle trying to justify the feckless.

Here's the gist so you can understand. The deal not just allows but ENSURES Iran gets a nuke.

That is a catastrophe for the West, you know ... the culture you are a part of as far as I know.

The solution is to increase sanctions, show resolve and get them to back down by the credible threat of use of force if need be.

This is preferable to actually having to use force in 5-10 years when Iran has the bomb. The other option is for you and your kids/grandkids to simply surrender and learn to pray facing Mecca.

Pick one ...

Now see, by offering up a solution....gee, how unique...increase the sanctions.

BUT you destroy one of the talking points. Our President, and others choose to offer only one single alternative, on any issue, and in this case they offered war. They offer only one to make it dramatic and agreeable to those who will go along with anything they want.

We now will be stuck...as said earlier...if Iran reneges in anyway, our allies will have such financial ties they will never agree to any action of any consequence.

YES....as many have said, including many democrats...this INSURES that Iran will get nuclear
